To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter on behalf of Jose Luis Palafox Martinez and it is a pleasure and privilege to do
so. I have known Jose Luis for the last year. He is one of the best office assistants in the counseling
office. He is highly motivated, responsible, and very respectful.

Jose Luis is very self-motivated. As a student, he is very diligent in his studies and consistently strives
to do his best. Jose Luis is also compassionate, and works well with his peers, often encouraging them to
do their best. Through the time I have known him, Jose Luis has expressed his plans to attend college,
and to pursue a career as a detective. Jose Luis is planning to attend Merced College. I am positive that
with his demeanor and work ethic, he will excel in anything he decides to do. Jose Luis will be the first
generation to go to college from his family.

During his high school career, Jose Luis has been involved in sports. He played Football as a senior in
high school, and he has been awarded student of the month several times during his high school career.
Jose Luis has a set of characteristics that will only help him succeed in life. Determination, passion,
positivity, hard worker, responsible and organize are only a few of them.

Jose Luis is a hard worker individual, and this can be evidence by his academic record. He is discipline
when it comes to work on his assignments and projects; his organization skills allow him to balance
schoolwork and personal life commitments.

I have nothing but high praise for this hardworking young man. I have no doubt he will be successful in
