Gender Equality

A very good morning, my respected principal, my dearest friends. and thank

you to each and every one of you for your attention. Let me introduce myself first,
my name is Afrida Meila Damayanti i’m from Culinary Program and rayon Cibedug
three. And thank you to our teacher, It is such an honor for me to speak on this daily
english speech. First of all, let us all give thank to God for His blessings so that we
can be together here in a good health.
So today I want to tell you about thing that are these days is so many people
talk about this on Internet. We all know Gender Equality intend to eliminate all
discrimination against women by including the terms "equal rights for women and
men" and "equality of men and women" which we often encounter these words on
the Internet. But Have we reached the goal of this gender equality? there is still a lot
of people who don’t know what is gender equality, there is still a lot of discrimination
to women in all aspects. UNICEF says gender equality "means that women and
men, and girls and boys, enjoy the same rights, resources, opportunities and
protections. It does not require that girls and boys, or women and men, be the same,
or that they be treated exactly alike.". There are also more men's rights and job
opportunities than women's, gender equality is not aims at against men. but aims to
promote equal rights and opportunities for women in all aspects include at the work
place. But in domestic situation, the role of parenting is more primarily given to
women, why? does a child not need a father figure? that's why gender equality is
important. And we should be grateful in this Wikrama highschool I barely seen
injustice to women, all women in Wikrama highschool has given many chance to be
a leader, that can be a leader at the ceremony, the leader at the study groups, and
even can be the leader at the rombel or rayon.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the end of my speech. Thank you for your time
and attention you have given to me. And I wish after you guys hear this speech, you
are more open-minded and understand the concept of gender equality. Goodbye

KESIMPULAN:
Kesimpulan dari pidato saya hari ini adalah, semua orang memiliki hak yang
sama dalam segala aspek, mau itu perempuan, laki laki bahkan anak-anak. Dimulai
dari hal yang paling dasar adalah pendidikan. semua anak-anak di dunia ini berhak
mendapat pendidikan minimalnya 12 tahun pendidian, mau itu laki laki ataupun
perempuan. dan kesetaraan gender di tempat kerja pun jarus segala dihilangkan,
mau dari segi ketidakadilan hak perempuan dalam memilih pekerjaan dan
perbedaan gaji yang didapat hanya karena dia perempuan.
