Procedure for
SUBJECT: Arranging Guest Belongings

Standard:

Special attention must be paid to handling guest belongings, so as not to appear as prying and neither
displacing any important items.

Procedure:

1- Arrange the guest foot ware neatly and place against the wall.

2- Arrange newspaper and reading material neatly on top of the Desk.

3- Arrange items left on the writing table neatly but do not remove from the original position on
the table.

4- Wipe dusty areas around and under the items left on the desk, vanity counter and bedside
unit daily, tender loving care to avoid any unnecessary breakage.

5- Fold guest’s night clothes left on the bed and place neatly back on the bed after bed has been
made.

6- Arrange items left on the bedside table neatly and do not throw any scraps of paper away.

7- Arrange guest’s toiletries on the vanity counter by placing guest’s items like toiletries bag,
make up and etc. on a piece of face or hand towel. Place guest’s toothbrush, toothpaste into
the tumbler glass.

8- Please ensure glassware has been cleaned and damp coasters replaced before cleaning the
first room, check the room list for any rooms that may have requested an early make-up.

Note:

1- Do not use any items belonging to the guest.

2- Any newspapers left near the waste bin, to be removed after checking with the guest.

3- Ensure items are arranged where it is on the table.

3- Care not to throw anything away.
