1. SL APPLICABILITY
Information presented in this Service Letter is applicable to the EMB-500 “Phenom
100” aircraft in operation.

2. PURPOSE
To request additional data (CMC and FLAP NVM downloads) for all maintenance
events related to the flap system.

3. COMPLIANCE
EMBRAER recommends that the actions prescribed in this Service Letter be
accomplished every time a flap system troubleshooting is required.

4. APPROVAL

7. DESCRIPTION
During operation of Phenom 100 aircraft, instances of FLAP FAIL messages are
reported, and the removed components investigation shows no fault found (NFF).
An internal investigation showed need to further analysis by Supplier/Embraer
engineering. Therefore, it is requested to provide the CMC and FLAP NVM data in the
all FLAP events.
Use the AMM task 45-45-00-970-803 and EATON UMGSE802516S001_-.pdf user
manual to perform the downloading tasks.
