INTRODUCTION

• Revit enables architects to create accurate and detailed drawing


based on your specifications.
• Revit architecture design freely and deliver efficiently .
• Revit architecture is a structured device broadly used by structural
engineer.
• Revit architecture lets you to create a variety of bi directional
views,including 3D details,schedules and sections.

CREATING LEVELS :

• Use the shortcut command “ LL” to create levels.


• Click on building elevations and select any directions to
draw levels with required dimensions to create levels.
CREATING GRIDS :

• Use the shortcut command “ GR” to


draw grids.
• Open any level and draw grids
width required length.
CREATING WALLS, DOORS AND WINDOWS :

• Use the shortcut command “ WA” to create walls , there are three types of walls :
a) Generic wall
b) Curtain wall
c) Stacked wall
• Use the shortcut key “ DR” to create doors.
• Use the shortcut key “ WN” to create windows, and place it.
3D VIEW OF WALLS, DOORS AND WINDOWS:
FLOOR , CEILING AND ROOF :

Open floor architectural and draw a boundary line


with required shape ,now we can check in the
default 3D view.
Click on ceiling option and choose sketchceiling
and draw a boundary line.
Select roof by footprint option and then click
on level 2 to create a roof and adjust theroof
angle.
COMPONENTS AND COLUMNS :

• Place the components by selecting from load families they are used to model
building elements that are usually delivered and installed on site, such as
doors,windows, furniture and so on.
• Creating an architectural column : by clicking on the column we can place it
wherever required and then reduce the offset.
