Markers
Markers are used to help distinguish the beginning LEG: (Make 2) With Beaver Brown and Tan
of each round being worked. Place scrap piece of
yarn before the first stitch of each round, moving
marker after each round is complete. When Rnd 1: With Beaver Brown, Ch 7, sc in back ridge
instructed to move a marker within a round, complete of second ch from hook, sc in next 4 chs, 3 sc in next
stitches indicated and move marker after last stitch ch, working in free loops of beginning ch, sc in next
made to mark beginning of next round. 4 chs, 2 sc in last ch, join with sl st to first st. [14]
Rnd 2: Ch 1, inc in same st, sc in next 5 sts, inc, inc,
sc in next 5 sts, inc, join with sl st to first st. [18]
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same st, inc, sc in next 5 sts, inc,
sc in next 2 sts, inc, sc in next 5 sts, inc, sc in next
st, join with sl st to first st. [22]
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in same st, sc in next st, inc, sc in
next 5 sts, inc, sc in next 4 sts, inc, sc in next 5 sts,
inc, sc in next 2 sts, drop Beaver Brown join Tan
with sl st to first st. [26]
Ear: Sew between Rnds 7 and 20 of Head Rnd 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook; do not
join, place marker. [6]
Rnd 2: (Sc in next st, inc) 3 times, sl st in next st. [9]
Finish off and leaving a long end for sewing.
