Dear LTC Posesano:

Greetings!

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Misamis Oriental Chapter in

collaboration with other groups is spearheading an activity entitled
“Project BALA 2.0” on January 06, 2024 at the Jahveh Security
Firing Range, Cagayan de Oro City. It is open to all members of the
said chapter and invited guests.

Project BALA (Bonding Activity for Lawyers & Advocates) is a

bonding activity for the members by way of Target Shooting. The
goal is not only to promote the shooting sport but will also serve as
a skills enhancement/training or experience for the participants in
combat, situational or basic practical shooting for self-defense
purposes, especially nowadays when the safety of the lawyers or in
the field of legal profession is a matter of concern.

This will be our 2nd year to hold such an activity, the first was last
2022 wherein the current Chapter President acted as the overall
coordinator is also a reserve officer and currently the Assistant
Director for Operations of the 71 st Air Force Group Reserve. It was
initially agreed or already have an understanding with a couple of
the reserve officers and NCOs through MAJ Luzviminda B Ragmac
PAFR, the Director for Personnel of said unit to collaborate in this
event by assisting within our capacity (i.e. range officers, scorers,
registration, facilitators etc.)

In this regard we will be requesting among others the corresponding letter

order/mission orders once we finalize the list of participating personnel of
ARCEN8 and 71stAFGR. Assistance is also requested from the 8 th Air
Reserve Center of following:
1. The participation/presence of assigned 8th ARCEN personnel to help
secure the safety of the reserve personnel to be deployed and if
necessary the intelligence report/recommendation of the said area if
the same is safe for our personnel to be in the activity despite the fact
that it is within Cagayan de Oro City;

commissionship of the interested applicants to join the PAF reserve
component.

For post activities, assistance is also requested for the

recommendation of awards/commendations for the
organizers/participants alike, after submission of the necessary
After Activity Report (AAR).
