For the partition of HDD when you update the software
to after Rev.5.10(OS: Windows NT) from less than Rev.5.00(OS: Windows XP)

1. Partition
<In case of HDD is 10GB capacity>
Set up the partition like next.
C:¥drive 6GB
D:¥drive 4GB

<In case of HDD is 20GB capacity>

Set up the partition like next.
C:¥drive 8GB
D:¥drive 12GB

2.Modification of Updating procedure

*detail procedure is written in the “INSTALLATION MANUAL OF XP UPGRADE KIT”

<Traditional Procedure>
1. Change the BIOS setting that it can be boot up from CD.
2. Install the Windows XP from CD booting up.
3. Divide the partition of D:¥ drive, and format the D:¥ drive.
4. Install the each of DRIVER S/W.
5. Set up the Option.

<Modified Procedure>
[1].Divide the partition of C:¥ drive, and execute the format this drive.
(execute automatically formatting)
[2].Execute the 1~5 procedure of<Traditional Procedure>.

CAUTION: Before updating the S/W, check next things

Use the Floppy disk for saving the ASI setting.
Write down the user calculation settings for saving.
