THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

Introduction

This research project was conducted by student researcher from a Mabayuan Senior

High School. The students targeted in this research were students in grades 12 ICT.

Lightbox is a popular technique used in web development to overlay images or other

content on the current page, providing an immersive and interactive experience.

However, like any technology, it can encounter problems.

The lighting conditions inside a lightbox, which include light intensity, color

temperature, durations, and how these lighting variables interact to effect human

psychology and well-being, are what make up the psychology of lighting in

lightboxes. This condition forms the basis of the study's investigation into the impact

of lightbox lighting on human psychology.

According to Fine Arts 2023, A lightbox is another invaluable tool that artists can

use to trace their artworks. It consists of a flat box with a light source inside and a

transparent top. This design illuminates the images placed on top of it, providing a

perfect tracing environment.

Using a lightbox for tracing offers a host of benefits. It grants artists the liberty to

trace intricate designs with improved accuracy. Moreover, it is particularly useful

when working with darker papers or denser materials through which light cannot

easily pass. In these scenarios, tracing paper may not provide sufficient visibility,

but a lightbox ensures you can clearly see the details of the original image.

Researchers would look at how various combinations of these lighting conditions

affect people's emotional states, cognitive performance, mood, and overall

psychological responses. They would also focus on understanding the psychology

mechanism at work in lightboxes.

Research Locale

This study was conducted in Mabayuan Senior High School. The school has

an average population of 5,530 students. The main campus located in the central part

of Olongapo City along Otero Ave, Olongapo, Zambales.

The researchers chose this locality because the participants of the study are enrolled

in this school and some of the residing in Olongapo City.

This study aimed to know if using Lightbox is effective in drafting by

improving students draft skills. Furthermore, the research can nurture the existing

strategies utilized in the classroom which can lead to a better paradigm used by

teachers and higher academic performance from the students. Hence, the result of

the study will be the basis for the formulation of a proposal at Mabayuan Senior

High School for the enhancement of students in Grade 12 ICT.

Specifically, the study sought answer to the following questions:

1. What is the profile of the respondents in term of:

1.1 Age

1.2 Sex

1.3 Emotional Status

2. Have you encountered or used Lightbox in any of your web design projects?

3. How do you ensure that a website with Lightbox remains user-friendly on various

devices, including mobile phones and tablets?

4. Is there a Significance of using Lightbox in Drafting can affect people's emotions

states, cognitive performance, mood, and overall psychological responses.

5. How may the findings of the study be used to_______

emotions states, cognitive performance, mood, and overall psychological

responses.

Scope and Delimitation

The study is to focus on Performance Measurement in Animation: Evaluating

the effectiveness of light box in drafting improving students draft skills.

Significance of the study

This study is beneficial to the following:

Students. They will enhance their mind and make it simple that using Lightbox can

improve the drafting skills.
