Q.1 When did you start
making reels ?
In 2020. I was little sceptical
about making reels because I
tried Tik Tok, so was very
sceptical whether I should do
it or not. I did not use it for like
two months. One of my fellow
creator using it for the first
time and I found it quite cool.
So let me try it. I posted short
funny videos before that I was
making lifestyle videos, girly
content. But I tried to show
that side of me which was
humorous so I made that
video, and you know people
started liking me one of my
video which hit million views. I
grew to around 8000 followers
and after that I got sick and
could not post more after that
I started posting more and
started being more consistent
and that's when I actually
grew.
Q.2 What was your Ideation
journey?
I was in grade 7 and when I
started making vlogs and DIYs
on YouTube.

It was another channel and
then in 2016 I was in 9th grade
and I made this channel called
Samridhi Avisthi which known
as Do It Yourself because it
was all about DIYs. I started
making DIY videos, crafting
videos. At that time it was the
popular content, eventually I
grew out of it. I gained 100
subscribers in the first year
that I made YouTube videos. I
was really happy you know, 100
was a big achievement for me
and after that I kept making
videos, kept getting
subscribers. I hit 1000
subscribers and then what
happen was one of my video
gained 100K views. So my
channel also grew up and I got
over 10K subscribers and that's
when basically everything
began. I started gaining
attraction, Brands started
reaching out. I collaborated
with some great brand linke
Unacademy , Amazon. Clovia
was the first brand I
collaborated with. I start
gaining subscribers and then
one of my video named How
to make money online, it was a
finance video.

It was during the covid time
and that gained 1 Million videos.
It also increased my
subscribers and then at one
point my youtube stop growing.
I started posting short videos
because I already know how it
works and I think it basically
helped me both shorts and
reels a a whole helped me grow
as a Content Creator.

should use your platform for

Q.9 What's one thing you
don't like about Content
Creation?
I think income stability and
competition. Competition is so
high.

You have to be collaborative
with other people but there is
so much competition at the
same time. Suppose I am
collaborating with specific
YouTuber. I really like them
but they are also my
competition because we are
in the same field. They are my
friends but also my
competitors. That's get really
hard.
Q.10 How do you innovate
new ideas?
That's take a lot of time. When
I am doing certain things and
I observe what things are
happening around me.
For eg - If I am at a family
function, I note people's
behavior, I note what they are
actually doing. I note it down
at that time and modify it
afterwards and make a trek
out if it. This is what I do for
Instagram. For Youtube I look
for what other people are
watching, what is the search
history of other people, what
kind of content the like to
consume. Then according to
that I make the videos.

Q.11 How do you earn via
Instagram?

Instagram currently does not

provide you monitisation but it
is coming up. They will be
paying people now. I don't
think it will be a lot because
advertising cost in India is
very cheap. You will not be
paid like foreign Youtubers
and Instagramers do. It will be
good for people. They could
earn through Instagram. But
there is no stability. There
could be brands coming your
way and there could be none.
Stability is very less.
