Title of Group Activity: STAGES OF RELATIONSHIP
B. Review and Direction: Arrange the following according to the stages of
Motivation relationship. (STRANGERS, ACQUIANTANCE, FRIENDS, BEST
FRIENDS, LOVERS)
Discuss Group Agreements Work with students to construct a list
C. Lesson Development of group agreements that will increase their feelings of safety and
comfort during sexual health classes.
Activity 1: Introduction to the Intimacy Continuum
Introduce the idea of an intimacy continuum: an imaginary line of behaviour that involves
increasingly close emotional and/or physical contact. Draw a horizontal line on the board. On
the far left side of the line, write the word “stranger”, and on the far right side of the line
write "best friend or closest family member"
D. APPLICATION
Activity 2:Group Discussion: Lead a discussion on the importance of
c o n s e n t , b o u n d a r i e s , a n d s a f e practices in sexual relationships. Encourage open
dialogue and address any questions or concerns students may have.
Activity 3: Watch a video related to sexual relationship.
IV. EVALUATION
Provide time for students to reflect on what they've learned during the session and share
any insights or questions they may have. Encourage a supportive a n d r e s p e c t f u l
a t m o s p h e r e w h e r e s t u d e n t s f e e l comfortable expressing themselves.
