Electrical inspection and adjustment – Power supply voltage – Check that the power supply voltage is
within the operable range of 108 - 132 Vac. Confirm the power supply voltage before turning the unit
on.

Electrical inspection and adjustment – Power supply voltage – Confirm that the reading is 120V +/-10%
(108-132Vac).

Electrical inspection and adjustment – Confirmation of tube current – Confirm the tube current at
beginning and at stabilized portion of exposure by auto mode as page 19 in the Service Manual.

Electrical inspection and adjustment – Exposure warning buzzer and lamp – Exposure warning buzzer –
Make an exposure and confirm that the exposure warning buzzer located within the control box is
activated during the entire exposure.

Electrical inspection and adjustment – Exposure warning buzzer and lamp – Exposure warning lamp –
Make an exposure and confirm that the exposure warning lamp illuminates during the exposure.
Exposure warning lamp is located on the front panel of the control box.

Electrical inspection and adjustment – Line voltage regulation – Make sure that a main power switch is
“OFF”.

Electrical inspection and adjustment – Line voltage regulation – Record the no-load line voltage (VN)
indicated by the multimeter before the exposure.

Electrical inspection and adjustment – Line voltage regulation – Make an exposure and record the load
voltage (VL) indicated by the multimeter during the exposure.

Electrical inspection and adjustment – Line voltage regulation – Check that the R does not exceed the
range of 2-5%.

Mechanical inspection – Arm assembly – Confirm neither horizontal arm nor balance arm drift.

Mechanical inspection – Arm assembly – (Make the horizontal arm parallel to the wall) Confirm neither
horizontal arm nor balance arm drift.

Mechanical inspection – Arm assembly – Check that neither the balance arm drifts either higher or lower
from the set position, remove the spring adjustment covers and with the supplied wrench adjust the
tension balance arm assemblies.

Mechanical inspection – Head assembly – Check that the head does not drift from the set position.

Mechanical inspection – Mechanical safety – Check the wall plate to confirm its secure attachment to
the wall.

Mechanical inspection – Mechanical safety – Check the arm mounting bracket to confirm its secure
attachment to the wall mounting plate or, to the wall.
Mechanical inspection – Mechanical safety – Check to ensure the horizontal arm is not raising up and
out of the arm mounting bracket.
