Description: -
In meeting number 2 we searched for different projects that we could select for our project.
The different projects were such as automatic hand sanitizer stand, onion seed thresher,
pneumatic sheet cutting machine, etc. After doing how to perform the project we understood
that we were not well versed with all the concept that were required to perform the project.
So we decided to select the topic which would be fully related to our course and we would be
able to apply our knowledge or practice what we learned through performing the project. So
we decided to select “Design And Fabrication Of Pneumatic Vice” as our topic.

SEARCHING THE MODEL
Description: -
The initial stage of our project was to find out Pneumatic cylinder that was required for our
project. So we searched for the cylinder in various scrap shops. We found the cylinder but it
was not in the condition of maintenance so we decided to search more shop to get an cylinder
as required for our project.
Finally, we found cylinder required for project. After the primary inspection we understood
that the cylinder had starting problem due to its fuel injector. The rest of the engine was in
good condition. We decided to select that cylinder for our project.

We then started collecting data about the project such as specification of Pneumatic vice and
its components , its working, construction, its application, its advantage and disadvantage.

DESCRIPTION OF PNUEMATIC COMPONENTS
Description: -
We then gathered at one place and decided to get description. We studied about the
compressor, direction control valve. We then slowly put the information in correct for
direction control valve and important compressor information so we can easily have it.

ASSEMBLY OF Pneumatic Vice
Description: -
We again gathered for the assembly of Pneumatic Vice. Firstly put batch vice on top of steel
plate as per our required size. Mounted cylinder successfully and cylinder rod with the help
of fabrication work and then provided clamp and put hard metal plates to clamping object in
a vice.

Description: - Due to technical problem we were not able to complete the maintenance
of project that is Pneumatic Vice. The double acting cylinder was not moving we can
say that compressor had to play to a role in it. Due to this we watched some youtube
videos to fix the problem. After everyone gone through the process we solved the issue
of the working part of the cylinder.

REPORT WRITING

Description: -
We again gathered for report writing. then we put together the data we researched on, then we
arranged the data according to the format of Maharashtra state board of technical education
website. Then we edited the data after that we prepared a soft copy of the report. we went
through the whole report and we were satisfied of our work and mailed it to the project guide.
they also went through the report and give their suggestion on project report data and asked
us the make few changes, we worked on the report and made improvements in the report as
they asked and mailed it to the guide again. They liked the work we did after that we mailed
it to the project coordinator. They also give their suggestion on the project report format and
they asked us to correct something, we worked on it to and mailed the final report to the
coordinator again and they finalized the Report.
