Ajmer is a destination that always promises wonderful moments and
memories. A scintillating destination to visit especially during the winter; offers great things to explore and ponder upon. Ajmer is a city in middle of the huge state of Rajasthan. Our family visited the beautiful city of Ajmer during our Christmas vacations. We stayed at our maternal grandparents’ place. Our stay was filled with mesmerizing and delicious plethora of unimaginable platter and mouth-watering sweets. They were amazing! Firstly, when we arrived at the bungalow of my grandparents, we were offered many different types of wonderful dishes and soon, we visited the local mall in here where we capped off our first day with some adventurous activities and some fun celebrating Christmas! The following day, we explored the local market and my mother (fond of buying new clothes) spent hours for selecting her dresses whilst me and my dad munched on the local fast food ‘Pani Puri’. After having done our shopping, we found ourself in the local theatre enjoying the reclining seats to watch a movie called Dunki. We nibbled on the ever-crispy popcorn while enjoying the movie. The next day, we went to a local town fondly known as Pushkar. We visited the only Brahma Temple in the world situated only in the ancient town of Pushkar. It was a momentous visit to one of the holiest places in India. Next, we spent some time in the adventure park nearby followed by an adventurous voyage in a cable car to the mountain summit. Finally, for our dinner, we concluded our day with a roof-top dinner at the popular Maharana Pratapa Smarak here in Ajmer. On the last day, we visited another holy temple of Lord Sai, Lord Shiva and Lord Hanuman. Truly a holy visit. Finally we capped off our wonderful trip by visiting the seven wonders of the world park. This park consists of miniatures of the seven wonders making it one of the most popular destination to visit in Ajmer.
