Objective:
1. Identify appropriate farm equipment and facilities.
2. Give the importance of using appropriate equipment in a particular job.
3. Determine the appropriate farm equipment to be used in a particular job.

Learning across the curriculum:


1. Mathematics - Calculating the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of using appropriate farm
equipment.
2. Science - Understanding the scientific principles behind the operation of different farm
equipment.
3. Filipino - Writing a reflection on the importance of using appropriate farm equipment in
agricultural crop production.

Elicit:
- Ask the students if they have any prior knowledge or experience in using farm equipment
and facilities in agricultural crop production. (Tanongin ang mga mag-aaral kung mayroon
silang nalalaman o karanasan sa paggamit ng kagamitan at pasilidad sa pagpapalago ng mga
pananim.)

Engage:
1. Show a short video clip or images of different farm equipment and facilities used in
agricultural crop production. (Ipakita ang isang maikling video clip o mga larawan ng iba't
ibang kagamitan at pasilidad sa pagpapalago ng mga pananim.)
2. Ask the students to discuss in pairs or small groups the importance of using appropriate
equipment in agricultural crop production. (Himukin ang mga mag-aaral na pag-usapan sa
