Dear Search Committee,

This letter is my personal recommendation for Jennifer Hitt based on my knowledge of her as a
person and a Personal Trainer for the Sentara RMH Wellness Center. I hope to outline her key
strengths and emphasis why any organization would benefit from having her as their next
employee.

I have known Jennifer since 2013, when she was an intern at the Wellness Center where I served
as her mentor. I was then able to reconnect with her in 2015, when I was able to hire her as a
Personal Trainer. Since that time, she has served the organization as a Personal Trainer but has
always been someone willing to do whatever she could to make the organization better.

Jennifer has many strengths that I have observed over the years but certainly at the very top of
the list would be her compassion she shows both her clients and teammates. Other strengths
include her strong work ethic, her positive attitude, and her loyalty to the organization.

Jennifer has stood out from her peers in the high level of compassion she shows her clients and
teammates. Having worked with many trainers before I’ve been impressed to observe how
quickly Jennifer built strong trusting relationships with her clients and other teammates. She has
clearly demonstrated in her work how she puts others ahead of herself. Since day 1 Jennifer has
shown a strong work ethic. A recent example of this has been how she quickly jumped in to help
other departments within the organization, doing all she could to make the organization better.
Having known Jennifer since 2013 you can image that there have been times in her life where
there have been difficulties and challenges, and I can say that has been true for her. Through
those difficult times I’ve been amazed by her ability to work hard and maintain a positive
attitude. I think her loyalty speaks for itself in the longstanding relationship she has had with
the organization.

As you can see above Jennifer will be a great addition to your team and your community. I am
sending this letter along with my personal recommendation for Jennifer Hitt. Please let me know
