Tip 1: Dùng từ đồng nghĩa

Cách học: search từ cần paraphrase + synonym. Tuy nhiên cần tra rõ sắc thái nghĩa và cách dùng để
áp dụng cho đúng

Một số từ hay gặp sau đây các bạn có thể note lại:

Cause: lead to, result in, be responsible for, as a consequence

Important: crucial, vital, essential

Solve: deal with, tackle, address

Ease: alleviate, relieve, mitigate, minimize

A lot of: numerous, a large number of, a huge/significant amount of, a wide/broad range of, a
good/great deal of

Ví dụ:

Câu gốc: Smoking can cause serious health problems.

Paraphrase: Smoking can lead to/ result in serious health problems.

Tip 2: Dùng collocation

Cách làm: học từ vựng song song với collations đi kèm của chúng, hoặc học thông qua các ví dụ từ
văn bản, bài báo tiếng Anh

Tài liệu mình dùng:

Sách: Collocations in Use, Phrasal Verbs in Use

Báo: The Guardian, the Economist, the Times, …

Ví dụ:

Important: of great importance, play a significant role in, …

Câu gốc: Proper communication is important for building strong relationships.

Paraphrase: Proper communication plays a significant role in building strong relationships.

Tip 3: Nâng cấp giọng văn

Tránh việc lặp lại các từ quá cơ bản nhiều lần trong cùng một đoạn viết, nên dùng đa dạng các cách
biểu đạt để giọng văn mượt mà hơn.

Một số cách diễn đạt thường gặp:

Firstly: to begin with

Secondly, thirdly: furthermore, what's more, moreover, in addition, additionally, it should not be
forgotten that …

Lastly: in conclusion, overall, to sum up, in summary, as a last point …

For example: for instance, as can be seen in, …

When it comes to: regarding, considering, in regards of, …

However: whereas, on the contrary, on the other hand, …

Significantly: notably, remarkable, …
