• Good motivation before starting the
formal discussion (talking about book
genres), can let learners talk about their
experiences

for learners to use
• It’s good she notifies the class whenever
she has to do something else instead of
muting herself right away.
• Letting learners read the passages
• Good pronunciation of the figures of
speech (such as hyperbole) which is often
a mistake for other teachers

especially for students who are afraid to

• Even though that this is an ESL class,

(such as fantasy, romance) was answered.

utilized at best, such as time running out
before the student answering

not well understood by the learners such
as daffodils (which is a new word for
them).
• Central theme of the poem was asked,
there should be an activity to assess
learner’s prior knowledge or to have a
quick recap
• Time limitation is mentioned which can
rush the learner’s learning in class
because of the mentioned rushed time
