SCHOOL LAC SESSION NARRATIVE REPORT

Topic: SELECT, DEVELOP, ORGANIZE AND USE APPROPRIATE TEACHING
AND LEARNING RESOURCES, INCLUDING ICT,
TO ADDRESS LEARNING GOALS

Instructional Materials or Teaching and Learning Materials are resources that a teacher
may use in teaching and learning situations to help achieve desired learning objectives and to
facilitate the teaching and learning process.

The SLAC session was held last 14th day of October 2021 at kinder classroom at exactly
3:00 o’clock in the afternoon. The session started with a solemn prayer led by Sir Gregorio
Gonzales and followed by the singing of National Anthem. Ma’am Rowelyn Debisme introduced
the speaker Sir Benjamin Debisme who talked about the topic entitled “Select, Develop,
Organize and Use Appropriate Teaching and Learning Resources, Including ICT, to Address
Learning Goals.”

He first read and explained the overview of the RPMS-PPST KRA 9 where it contains
addressing the learners needs when it comes to learning process. He also discussed the important
key concepts about this module. Then, asked the participants to reflect on their current practices
when it comes to the selection, development, organization and utilization of the teaching and
learning resources using their knowledge, skills and attitudes in relation to the indicator. The
participants used the KSA organizer to clearly showed their answer.

The facilitator showed an example of DLP used by Teacher Noemi where they saw how
she apply the indicator in her target competency. He let the participants’ walk through the
various illustrations of teacher practices that will show specific ways on how to meet the
indicator of this module.

Sir Gregorio Gonzales was asked to read another scenario and explained briefly what he
observed on a particular lesson used by the teacher. In selecting, developing, and organizing
teaching and learning resources we should always consider it’s appropriates, relevance, and
effectiveness to address learning goals.

The session ended with an insight given by Ma’am Noviejean Caras. The facilitator
thanked everyone for an active participation. Then, awarding of certificate were given to the
facilitator and participants.
