TEACHER REFLECTION FORM

Teacher: MARIBEL E. DELA PENA, Teacher III Date: JANUARY 26, 2022
RATER: COLITO A. PATRICIO II, Master Teacher I

OBJECTIVE 9: Design, adapt and implement teaching strategies that are responsive to
learners with disabilities, giftedness and talents

MY PERSONAL REFLECTION
Student with learning disability need some additional support and modifications and good
learning spaceas well as in the type of activities they do to keep them focus on classroom
activities, to teach him concept in different ways and have the opportunity to practice it
repeatedly in order to understand and remember the way it has to be.
Teacher should be as concrete as possible in teaching. They should demonstrate instruction
in a simple, clear in giving verbal directions. By using hands on learning activities, the
students will be using alltheir senses that will definitely help them learn and retain
information better.
Afterwards, by providing immediate feedback will help teachers to build a rapport to their
students. Teachers should also establish a constant communication with the parent about
the status of their children at school and work closely with them to cater the needs of those
students with learning disability, giftedness and talents.

TEACHER REFLECTION FORM

Teacher: JONET P. BELLEN ,Teacher I Date: February 3, 2022

RATER: COLITO A. PATRICIO II, Master Teacher I

Objective 10: Adapted and used culturally appropriate teaching strategies to address the
needs of learners from indigenous groups.

MY PERSONAL REFLECTION
According to DepEd Order No. 32, s. 2015, or adopting the indigenous Peoples( IP)
Education Curriculum “ Recognizing the right of Indigenous people to basic education that
is culturally rooted and responsive, the IPEd Curriculum Framework seeks to provide
guidance to schools and other educational programs, both public and private, as they
engage with indigenous communities in localizing, indigenizing, and enhancing the k to 12
Curriculum based in their respective educational and social contexts”.
Fundamental to IPEd is establishing institutionalized partnership between indigenous
communities and the respective schools/learning programs which serve them. This is to be
pursued through sustainable community engagement which guarantees the meaningful
participation of indigenous communities in the inclusion of their indigenous Knowledge
Systems and Practices (KPS) and Indigenous Learning Systems (ILS) in the Basic education
Curriculum Framework”.
Having an indigenous group where their culture is different from those living in the
city , we need to give them activities that will engage them with their classmates who do
not belong to their group and be able to express themselves and share their culture and
beliefs. Activities will be modified wherein the interaction and the collaboration among the
two groups are not sacrificed. They will be given fair and just treatment and judgment in
their activities to be submitted.

Annotation: The teacher provides a certification from the school head of having no
identified learner/s from indigenous group.
