welcome to our annual ISC-organized online interschool event,
Panache 2024.
Serving as a cornerstone of our school calendar, Panache
embodies the essence of talent, creativity, and community spirit.
As we continue with our virtual platform for this year, Panache is
committed to providing an exceptional digital experience,
offering students a global stage to showcase their skills and
passions.

Closing Ceremony - TO
GENERAL RULES
This is an online interschool fest to be held on Zoom Platform.
Certain events are structured with two distinct categories :
Explorers(Grade IX and X) and Discoverers(Grade XI and XII)
There are few events which are open to students from grades
IX to XII without categories.
Participation in any event requires compulsory registration
from each school.
Registered schools will be provided with a Panache ID (for e.g.
PANXXX) which is the only identification that will be used by
them. Participants must avoid using their school name,
personal name, school uniform or ID card anytime during the
event.
Participants cannot take part in more than one event which
are scheduled on the same day.
Participants must report 10 minutes prior to the start time for
all events.
Link for submission of the recorded entry will be shared
closer to the date.
Nomenclature to be followed for recorded entries:
PAN ID_Event Name_Name of the participant/team_Exp/Dis

Dispute Resolution:
In case of any disputes, the decision of the judges and
organizing committee will be final and binding.
Participants must raise any concerns or disputes with the
organizers promptly and respectfully.
GENERAL RULES
Technical Requirements:
Participants must have access to a stable internet
connection and a compatible device (computer, tablet, or
smartphone).
Participants are responsible for ensuring their devices meet
the technical requirements.
Participants’ videos should be kept on throughout the event,
failing which may lead to disqualification.
Participants’ microphones should be muted at all times,
unless directed otherwisse.

Conduct:
Participants must maintain academic integrity and honesty
throughout the event.
Any form of cheating, including plagiarism or collusion or use
of copyrighted material will result in immediate
disqualification.
Use of offensive, inappropriate or controversial content will
lead to immediate disqualification.
Participants are expected to adhere to respectful behavior
towards fellow participants, organizers and the subject
matter.

participants agree to abide by these rules and regulations in
their entirety.*

Brain brawl DISCOVERERS

Rules & Regulations:


Number of Participants: 2
Explorers: Two participants.
Discoverers: Two participants.

Note: Groups Explorers and Discoverers will have separate


tournaments.

Flow of Events:
1. Screening round
2. Semi-Finals
3. Finals

Guidelines for the rounds:


Each team from a school should consist of
Two Speakers – One FOR the motion, and one AGAINST.
They will prepare their arguments respectively.
Teams will receive a pre-selected list of topics prior to
the event. During all rounds, the topics will be
determined by the judges.
In the screening round and the semi-finals, each Speaker
from the team will get two minutes to speak. Overall,
each team gets a total of four minutes to speak.
For the final round, each speaker from a team will get
three minutes to speak. Overall, each team will get a total
of six minutes to speak.

Prop-powered performance

Rules & Regulations: 6-10

Theme: Prop Dance


Team Composition: Each school may participate in a
maximum of 1 entry per category. A team must comprise of
minimum 6 and maximum 10 participants. Each team must
designate a team leader for communication purposes.
Format: Each team must prepare and submit a recorded video
of the performance with relevant props. Using prop(s) is
mandatory.
Duration: The duration of the dance video must be within 3 to
5 minutes. A grace period of 30 seconds will be given to each
team. Videos exceeding or falling short of this time will be
disqualified.
Costume: Costumes must be appropriate for the dance.
Teams with obscene or inappropriate clothes will be
disqualified.
Enigma escapes 3-5

Rules & Regulations:


Eligibility:
The competition is open to grades 9 to 12.
It is a team-based event, each team consisting of 3-5
members.
Format:
Participants will be presented with intriguing cases to solve
within a specified time limit.
Questions provided to participants will encompass
comprehensive details related to the incident, including
background information, suspects, victims, and evidence
collected at the scene.
Each round will comprise a case study, and participants will
have a specified time limit to solve each case given to
them.
Single device should be used for attending the online
meeting and participating in the online investigation event.
The rounds are time-based and no extension of time will be
allowed.
Competition Rounds:
The competition will be structured into four rounds.
Round 1- 5 minutes
Round 2- 5 minutes
Round 3- 7 minutes
Round 4- 20 minutes
Scoring:
Participants who solve the case in the shortest time period
will proceed to the next round.
The top 3 teams will compete in the final round

Rules & Regulations:


Eligibility:
Participants must be from grade 9 to 12 in a group of minimum 5
and a maximum of 8 members.
All the participants can be from one grade or mixed bag of
different grades from 9 to 12.
The maximum duration of the film should not exceed 7 minutes,
including credits. Films exceeding the specified duration may be
disqualified.
Content Guidelines:
Films must be original creations, and all content, including
music, images, and scripts, must either be original or properly
attributed.
Content should be appropriate for a school audience and must
not contain any explicit or offensive material.
Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
Language:
Films can only be in English language, and English subtitles must
be provided.
Judging Criteria:
Creativity and originality
Relevance to the theme
Cinematography and visual quality
Acting and performance
Editing and pacing
Overall impact and message delivery
Rights:
By participating in the competition, participants grant the
organizing committee the right to screen and promote their films
for non-commercial purposes.
Intellectual property rights of the films remain with the creators.
SIDESWIPE 3

Rules & Regulations:


There will be two teams in a match, each consisting of 3 players.
The estimated time for each match is two minutes.
The abilities available are: a) Boost b) Jump c) Boosted
Jump
The boost will keep on recharging.
Usage of offensive stickers are not allowed in the chat box.
If offensive stickers are used in the chat, the teams will be
warned twice before being disqualified.
The tournament will be a three versus three match.
All the matches will take place in the LongField map.
If the match ends in a tie, both teams will go into overtime(extra
time).
Overtime is a golden goal(whoever scores first) which decides
the winner.
An observer will be appointed to make sure both teams abide
by the rules and regulations.
The teams will not be allowed to equip fancy decals, wheels,
toppers, boosts and goal explosions.
The teams are required to equip specific colors i.e. Blue for the
Home Team and Red for the Away Team.
The metalness should be set as zero whereas the glossiness
should be set to the maximum.
The teams position will be classified on the basis of a knockout
format.
Players are expected to create an account prior to the
tournament.
All players have to set their username as their name and school
number. For example- ShauryaPAN-12 (Players with existing
account can rename and rest can put their names in the
mentioned format before the tournament while logging in)

Rules & Regulations:
Theme: 1
Grade 9 and 10 (Discoverers):

2. Vintage heritage
Grade 11 and 12 (Explorers):
1. Reflection
2. Contrast

Eligibility:
The competition is open to students from grades 9 to 12.
Maximum no. of participants: 1 per category
Competition is open only for individual entries.

Format:
The competition will consist of theme based photography by the
participants within given time frame.
Participants will be required to photograph objects or events that
adhere to the given theme of the competition.
Each participant can choose any one of the provided themes
according to given categorization.
Use of Laptop/desktop to attend meeting is preferred.

Rubrics:
Editing of pictures is not encouraged.
Participants will be provided 3 days time to capture their portraits.
No professional cameras to be used.
A brief explanation for choice of photography should be provided
alongside.
A behind the scenes video to be provided to eliminate plagiarism.
EXPLORERS

Intellecto DISCOVERERS
Rules & Regulations:
Eligibility:
1
Maximum no. of participants per school: 1 per category.
Competition is open only for individual entries.
Format:
The competition will consist of multiple-choice questions and
may include some open-ended or short-answer questions.
Each round will comprise a set number of questions, and
participants will have a specified time limit to answer each
question.
Single device should be used for attending the online meeting
as well as participating in the online quiz event.
During the entire duration of the competition the participants
have to share their device screens.
Use of Laptop/desktop is preferred.
Competition Rounds:
The competition will consist of three rounds, preliminary,
intermediary and final round.
First round will have a predetermined number of multiple
choice questions, and participants will be shortlisted for the
next round based on minimum time taken for the maximum
correct answers.
Second round will have a predetermined number of open-
ended questions with a set time limit to each question.
Third round will be a rapid fire round with a predetermined
number of one-on-one questions to be answered in minimum
time.
Scoring:
Incorrect or unanswered questions will not receive any points.
In case of tie scores, tie-breaker questions may be
administered to determine the final standings.

Rules & Regulations:


Team Composition:
A team must comprise a minimum of 3 and maximum of 6
participants.
Each team must designate a team leader for communication
purposes. Each school may participate in a maximum of one
entry per category.
Originality: Advertisements must be original creations of the
participants. Plagiarism or unauthorized use of copyrighted
material will result in immediate disqualification.
Format: Advertisements should be in the form of a video
enacted by the students.
Content Guidelines: Advertisements must be suitable for the
general audience and must not contain any offensive,
inappropriate, or controversial content. Any content deemed
inappropriate will result in disqualification.
Duration: The duration of video advertisements must not exceed
60 seconds. Advertisements exceeding the time limit may be
disqualified.
Language: Advertisements must be created in English.
Submissions in languages other than the specified language may
not be accepted.
EXPLORERS

Palette pursuiT DISCOVERERS

Rules & Regulations: 1


Participants can use suitable medium as per their choice.
Participants must join the meeting through the link 15 min
prior.
Participants should be ready with material required 15
min prior to the competition.
Participants should keep their camera on throughout the
competition.
Participants should arrange the camera in such a way that
the participants and its art work are clearly visible.
Once participants complete their artwork they have to
take a sharp photograph from the top view.
Participants must submit a photograph of their art work in
jpeg format within 5 minutes upon completing the
competition. No entry will be considered after the given
time.
Further information will be announced on the day of the
event.
The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

java runtime royale DISCOVERERS

Rules & Regulations:


Eligibility: 1
Maximum no. of participants per school: 1 per category
Competition is open only for individual entries.
Competition Format:
The competition consists of a single round.
For students in Grade IX and X, the competition will focus
on assessing core concepts such as Arrays and number
problems apart from the fundamental understanding of
key Java concepts.
For students in Grade XI and XII, the competition will focus
on assessing core concepts such as Strings and Recursion
apart from the fundamental understanding of key Java
concepts.
Time Limits:
Participants will be given 90 minutes to submit a pdf file
comprising of the working code, copy pasted in a word
document along with sample output screen shots. Once
the time limit is reached, submissions will be
automatically closed.
Submission Guidelines:
Solutions must be written in Java programming language
using BlueJ.
Code submissions must adhere to specified input/output
formats provided.
Plagiarism Policy: Participants must create their solutions
independently. Plagiarism or unauthorized collaboration
will result in disqualification.

Rules & Regulations:


Theme:
Develop a comprehensive business plan for an
innovative startup idea.
This event requires students to form teams, consisting of
2-3 members each.
Each team should select one startup idea to work on for
the entire duration of the activity.
Teams are encouraged to conduct thorough research and
analysis on their chosen startup idea and its market
potential. Ideas can be related to any industry or sector,
such as technology, healthcare, sustainability, or
consumer products.
Research should include market analysis, competitor
analysis, demographic identification, and assessment of
industry trends and opportunities.

The business idea should be authentic.


Any plagiarized business idea will be eliminated.

Teams need to develop a comprehensive business plan,


covering key aspects such as:
Executive Summary: Overview of the business idea, goals,
and objectives.
Market Analysis: Description of the target market,
customer needs, and competitor landscape.
Products or Services: Detailed description of the products
or services offered by the business.
Marketing Strategy: Plan for branding, promotion,
advertising, and customer acquisition.
Operations Plan: Outline of the business operations,
including production, distribution, and logistics.
Financial Plan: Projections for revenue, expenses,
profit margins, and funding requirements.
Implementation Timeline: Timeline for launching the
business and achieving key milestones.
Risk Assessment: Identification of potential risks and
mitigation strategies.

Presentations:
Once teams have completed their business plans,
they have to present their ideas to the panel of
judges.
Teams will get 5 minutes to pitch their business plan
to the judges.
Teams are encouraged to create engaging
presentations that effectively communicate their
business idea, strategy, and value proposition.
Presentations should be structured, well-rehearsed,
and include visual aids such as slideshows.
