The learner will be able to understand and appreciate the elements and contexts of 21st century Philippine Literature from the regions.
The learner will be able to demonstrate understanding and appreciation of 21st century Philippine Literature from the regions through:
1. A written close analysis and critical interpretation of a literary text in terms of form and theme, with a description of its context derived from research; and an
adaption of a text into another creative forms using multimedia.
1. define metafiction and its unique features as an experimental form of
storytelling;
2. explain the various devices of metafiction;

“The teacher will ask the students, “If the world were a work of fiction, which would
you choose to be: the author, the reader, or the main character? Explain your answer.
The learners will answer the question;
1. How could a character in the movie be aware that he is just a character in a
movie and that there are people watching him?
2. How could an author become a character in a story?
 The teacher will discuss metafiction and its unique features as an experimental form
4.4 Abstraction of storytelling. Also, the learners will discover the various literary devices and its
significance in 21st century literature.
The learners will compose a metafiction story that will follow its devices and unique

The students will read “The Tales of Beedle the Bard” by J.K. Rowling and will answer
