Statement of Purpose

Since childhood, I have found myself drawn to the allure of numbers. Even amidst adversity, such as

suffering from fever, my passion for mathematics never wavered; it remained a persistent companion,

evidenced by my achieving an impressive score of 97 out of 100 on a crucial mathematics examination.

Despite the challenges I faced, including financial constraints and limited opportunities, I persisted in

pursuing my academic endeavors, though in directions not initially aligned with my devotion to

mathematics. While pursuing degrees in Islamic Studies, I continuously enhanced not only my

analytical competence but also my critical thinking skills.

My academic path, although diverging from my initial passion, equipped me with a versatile skill set

that exceeds disciplinary boundaries. Courses ranging from Research Methodology, Economics to

Business Studies enriched my cognitive toolkit, fostering a robust foundation in critical analysis, ethical

research practices, and strategic thinking. Even amidst my academic pursuits, my dedication for

mathematics remained persistent, prompting me to share my knowledge by tutoring fellow students.

This not only allowed me to maintain proficiency in quantitative disciplines but also infused me with

a sense of fulfillment derived from aiding others in their academic journeys.

Upon graduation, I embarked on a transformative journey, driven by a passionate desire to apply my

analytical competency in a professional setting and grabbed the opportunity to join a multinational

corporation as a Retail Analyst. In this role, I explored into the depths of data analysis, employing

statistical methodologies to extract actionable insights that steered business growth. Collaborating

with cross-functional teams, I navigated complex datasets, leveraging my expertise to optimize retail

operations. Over the span of seven enriching years, I crossed a path of continual growth and learning,

concluding in my current position as a Senior Executive in the Management Information System

division at one of the top brands of Bangladesh.

My tenure as a Retail Analyst granted upon me a wealth of experiential knowledge, equipping me with
proficiencies in data analysis, statistical modeling, and cutting-edge business intelligence tools such as

Tableau and Power BI. Moreover, my role demanded not only technical insight but also effective

communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. I was engaged with multilayered

projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and boosting organizational growth, featuring my

ability to seamlessly integrate analytical insights with strategic initiatives.

Beyond the borders of my professional endeavors, I have demonstrated leadership both on and off

the field. As the captain of my university cricket team, I gained invaluable lessons in teamwork,

communication, and strategic thinking, skills that have since filled every aspect of my life. Similarly,

within my organization, I have been entrusted with leadership responsibilities, wherein I have been

overseeing and guiding a team of individuals, fostering an environment favorable to collective growth

and success.

My solid ambition to pursue an MBA with a specialization in Business Analytics stems from a profound

desire to exceed conventional boundaries and emerge as a leader in the field. By combining my

passion for data with strategic business insight, I aim to drive innovation and leverage value for

organizations. With an MBA degree, I seek to amplify my knowledge of business management

principles while further sharpening my analytical skills, thereby mapping a route toward leadership

and influence in the area of Business Analytics.

My interest in business analytics grown more while completing a professional course on Power BI
from my current company namely Square Toiletries Limited on 2023. Beside that I also have
completed another professional course on Customer support and service from Bangladesh Association
of Software and Information Services (BASIS).

The prospect of joining your esteemed university, with its illustrious reputation and vibrant academic

community, fills me with a sense of anticipation and enthusiasm. I am confident that the guidance,
