As a student observing the month of Ramadan, my daily life at my

boarding house undergoes quite a significant change. Mornings begin with

waking up earlier than usual to perform the dawn prayer and have pre-dawn

meal. After that, I usually take a brief nap before starting my academic

activities or self-study. However, during Ramadan, I allocate this nap time to

read the Quran and engage in other worship activities before starting the day.

During classes, I strive to stay focused despite feeling tired due to lack of

rest. I also make sure to pay attention to my food and drink intake to stay

energized throughout the day. During breaks, I often spend time resting

briefly while deepening my religious knowledge or simply chatting with

nearby friends. Despite challenges in maintaining concentration and energy,

I endeavor to remain productive and fulfill my academic duties as best as

possible.

After finishing classes for the day, the evenings at my boarding house are

filled with various worship activities, such as breaking fast together,

performing the Maghrib and Isha prayers in congregation, and reading the

Quran. Although it can feel challenging at times, I feel satisfied and happy to

be able to observe Ramadan with full consciousness.

During the two weeks staying in the boarding house as a student during

Ramadan, my daily routine undergoes significant adjustments to observe

fasting properly. Every morning, I wake up earlier than usual to perform the
dawn prayer and have pre-dawn meal together. After that, I make time to

read the Quran and pray before starting daily activities, whether it's classes or

other activities. The morning time becomes a precious moment for reflection

and spiritual preparation before facing the daily routines.

During class hours, I strive to stay focused despite feeling tired due to

lack of rest. I realize the importance of maintaining physical and mental

health to stay energized and productive throughout the day. After class

hours, I usually use break time to rest briefly and take a moment to breathe

before continuing with the next activity. I also optimize this break time to

deepen religious knowledge or engage in discussions with nearby friends

about beneficial topics.

In the evening, the atmosphere at the boarding house becomes livelier

due to preparations for breaking fast together. After performing the Maghrib

and Isha prayers in congregation, we gather to break the fast together and

share stories about the day's experiences. After breaking the fast, I usually

continue by reading the Quran and engaging in other worship activities

until bedtime. Despite feeling exhausting at times, I feel happy and grateful

to observe Ramadan with full consciousness and happiness. I spend the

night at the boarding house by completing academic tasks or reading books

to fill leisure time with beneficial activities.

During the three weeks staying in the boarding house as a student

during Ramadan, my experience undergoes a deep spiritual journey and

requires strong commitment to maintain a balance between worship and

academic activities. Every morning, I wake up earlier than usual to perform

the dawn prayer and have pre-dawn meal with full consciousness. The

morning becomes a precious moment for reflection and spiritual

preparation before starting daily activities, such as classes or self-study. I also

make time to read the Quran and pray for strength and perseverance to fast

throughout the day.

During class hours, I strive to stay focused despite feeling tired due to

lack of rest. I realize the importance of maintaining physical and mental

health to stay energized and productive throughout the day. After class

hours, I use break time to deepen religious knowledge or simply chat with

nearby friends. I also use this break time to reflect on the purpose of worship

and strengthen my intention to fast sincerely.

In the evening, the atmosphere at the boarding house becomes warmer

due to preparations for breaking fast. After performing the Maghrib and Isha

prayers in congregation, we gather to break the fast together with family. The

moment becomes very special as we can share stories about daily experiences

and unite the bonds of family that have been established for a long time.

After breaking the fast, I continue by reading the Quran and engaging in

other worship activities until bedtime.

During the fourth week, my daily life as a student during Ramadan in

my hometown undergoes significant changes compared to when I am at the

boarding house. Returning to my hometown provides an opportunity to

experience a more traditional Ramadan atmosphere infused with local

culture. Every morning, I wake up early to perform the dawn prayer and

have pre-dawn meal with my family. The warm and loving atmosphere at

home provides additional motivation to observe fasting.

During this fourth week, my daily activities are filled with helping my

family prepare for pre-dawn meals and breaking fast. We often engage in

sharing food with neighbors and helping those in need. In addition, leisure
time is spent attending religious activities at the local mosque, such as

religious lectures or Quran recitations together. I also use this time to interact

with neighbors and strengthen social bonds.

In the evening, the atmosphere in my hometown becomes even warmer

with preparations for breaking fast. After performing the Maghrib and Isha

prayers in congregation at the mosque, I gather with my family to break the

fast together. The moment becomes very special as we can share stories about

daily experiences and strengthen the bonds of family that have been

established for a long time. After breaking the fast, I continue by reading the

Quran and engaging in other worship activities until bedtime.

The fourth week of my daily life as a student during Ramadan in my

hometown provides a very valuable experience. I feel grateful to spend time

with family and experience the warmth and togetherness created during

Ramadan. This experience also teaches me to appreciate religious values and

local culture more, as well as increase awareness of the importance of sharing

and helping others.
