Guidelines (Performance-Based Competitions)

Bench Cheer
1. Participation in the routine is mandatory for all team members.
2. The duration of the routine should be between 7 and 10 minutes.
3. The routine should feature cheers and/or dance moves, with the latter not
exceeding 3 minutes of the total duration.
4. Teams are allowed to use either digital or live music accompaniments.
5. Cheers may humorously target other teams but should avoid derogatory or
oGensive language.
6. The selection of props and costumes must prioritize participant safety.
7. The incorporation of fire and water elements in the routine is strictly forbidden.

Choral Competition
1. The competition will feature a single piece in a TTBB arrangement of
Salidummay.
2. Participation in the competition is mandatory for all members.
3. Competitors are required to incorporate indigenous instruments into their
performance.
4. Live accompaniment is restricted to either a piano or an acoustic guitar.
5. The use of synthesizers is prohibited.
6. All percussion elements, including beatboxing, drum sets, chimes, etc., must be
performed live. The use of pre-recorded percussion sounds from keyboards is
not permitted.

Vocal Duet

Folk Dance
1. The group must be composed of at least 12 participants.
2. Participants will interpret a folk dance from Luzon, Visayas, or Mindanao through
a random draw.
3. The chosen dance should be thoughtfully adapted to suit an all-male
performance group.
4. Should cross-dressing be necessary, it must be approached with sensitivity to
avoid casting the dance in a negative or comedic light.
5. The choreography should remain true to the cultural significance and nuances of
the original dance.

Battle of the Bands
1. The number of participants can be as many as there are instruments.
2. Groups should perform only one song of any language.
3. Performance should not exceed 7 minutes.

Daniw
1. Contestants are required to compose a poem discussing the significance of
prayer in seminary education, written in the Ilocano language.
2. The structure of the poem can be in free verse.
3. Participants must wear traditional Filipiniana attire during their presentation.
4. The poem must be recited from memory, without the aid of a written script.
5. The duration of the recital should not exceed 3 minutes.

1. The competition is for a solo performance.

3. Narration is strictly not allowed. This competition is designed for each entry to
tell a story revolving around the theme through dancing.
4. No dangerous props/stunts allowed.
5. The performance shall not exceed 3 minutes.
