Event Summary:

Our recent successful Matatag Summit Laguna was held at Colegio De San Juan De
Letran Calamba. With 172 registered attendees, the event was truly a gathering of
passionate educators and school leaders dedicated to enhancing education in our
community.

We were honored to have Chief SDO Orlando Valverde from Sta. Cruz Laguna was our
keynote speaker, who was graciously picked up by Jae Joe Capulong. His presentation
was truly insightful, sparking engaging discussions and inquiries from the audience,
particularly regarding the new curriculum. The feedback on his session was
overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing interest in inviting him to speak at future
events organized by various associations in Laguna.

Furthermore, we were fortunate to have subject speakers such as Sir Joram Corcuera
for English/Filipino, Sir Winston Retiro for AP/Makabansa/GMRC, and Sir Danilo Duyan
for Math/Science/Mapeh. Each speaker provided comprehensive explanations of how
the curriculum aligns with the educational materials and offered practical insights on how
to utilize them in teaching effectively.

Following the informative sessions, we conducted raffles for the participants and
distributed certificates to acknowledge their participation and contribution to the summit.
