OPLAN KALUSUGAN SA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION “OK SA

DEPED” ONE HEALTH WEEK CELEBRATION FOR SY 2022-2023

1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 28 s. 2018 titled Policy and Guidelines on

Oplan Kalusugan sa Department of Education “OK sa DepEd” and OUFGO
Memorandum No. 2022-03-1037 titled Guidance to Regional/Division School
Health and Nutrition Personnel on the conduct of One Health Week Celebration for
SY 2022-2023, SDO Laguna through the SGOD School Health and Nutrition
Section shall conduct various activities relative to the six flagship programs and
other support programs of OK sa DepEd with the theme Pinalakas na Oplan
Kalusugan sa DepEd, Pinatatag na Healthy Learning Institutions. The theme
introduces the six pillars of Healthy Learning Institutions (HLI) that shall be
present in schools across the six flagship programs of OK sa DepEd where health,
safety, and wellbeing of learners are protected and promoted during pandemic and
beyond. In line with this, selected sub-offices and schools across SDO Laguna
shall participate in the celebration. Necessary technical assistance shall be
provided to identified public schools both in elementary and high school levels in
SDO Laguna in showcasing the various health and nutrition programs of OK sa
DepEd.

2. Objectives of this activity are the following:

a. Implement the OK sa DepEd One Health Week Celebration

b. Acknowledge the significance of the six flagship programs on OK sa

DepEd
c. Perform activities relative to the implementation of various health and
nutrition programs of OK sa DepEd.

3. The activity shall be conducted simultaneously in identified elementary

and secondary public schools across SDO Laguna from the 24 Sub-Offices that
were grouped into 4 clusters on March 27-31, 2023 (please see attached
annexes for the clustering and sub-offices and schools to be visited). Conduct of
activity shall be integrated in the period of time allotted for MAPEH subject or
during break time so as not to disrupt in person classes.
