 Warning signs
Girl: Can you please explain these ways in detail to me?
Boy: Yeah sure. Let’s see how to deal with a narcissist.
(Preface)
1.Narcissist is a person who thinks highly of himself,
much of a person suffering from a superiority complex. A
person who lacks empathy for others is often in
complicated relationships and often is needy for
attention and admiration.

(Educate yourself)
2.Often people do not know who a narcissist is, hence
educating oneself and being aware of the presence of
one would be the first step in knowing what one will be
dealing with, their traits and behaviour patterns, and how
they respond when faced with a situation. Reading
about this topic will make you aware of their
weaknesses and strengths and you will be able to
handle them better. Knowing their behaviour will help
you understand their situation and have realistic
expectations towards them.

(Boundaries)
3.Create boundaries defining yourself and letting
yourself have control of your boundaries. It might be
upsetting for the narcissist but you must be aware that
“You were born to express and not to impress” others.
So, it is alright if you have a little dissension with people
who have a narcissistic outlook. You should be in control
of only and only yourself and you should not be affected
by the narcissist’s way of life.

(Speak wisely)
4. Narcissists tend that you mend and bend your words
according to their will and want, hence it becomes
important to choose words wisely while speaking when a
narcissist is around. You must be aware that narcissists
do not take criticism well, not even constructive criticism,
therefore avoid criticizing them.

(Support system to stay motivated)

5. Being a lot with narcissists might make you go into
self-doubt and you yourself might start thinking low
about yourself. You might as well overthink scenarios
that are nearly impossible and degrade yourself in your
own eyes. Therefore, you must create a support system
for yourself. Make sure to have a set of core friends with
you, who trust and believe in you for who you are and
would do anything to make you feel valued. This will
help you combat your issues of confusion and self-doubt
in a whisk.

(Warning signs)
6. You might not want to get involved with a person with
narcissistic personality disorder and you can easily and
clearly identify the warning signs. The warning signs
include name-calling, insults, yelling, threatening,
jealousy, attempting to gaslight a tense situation,
trivializing one's needs and opinions, etc.
