Dear SK Chairman Lapira,

It is so easy to take reading for granted. Like many things in life, it is an activity that hardly merits a second thought.
Yet, reading and writing are critically important skills people throughout the world need for daily survival and
happiness. With this thought in mind, the teaching staff and learners of San Rafael Elementary School invite you to
share our commitment to reading by helping us celebrate the National Reading Month which is held this entire month
of November.

The theme for this year’s National Reading Month is PAGBASA: Pag-asa sa MATATAG na kinabukasan. We believe
that with your participation many young pupils will be inspired and motivated by your leadership and advocacy of
prioritizing literacy. We are looking forward to having you as our Mystery Reader on November 17, 2023 (Friday) at
9 o’clock in the morning.
