The Colonial league is an athletic conference consisting of 14 gamy schools mostly from the
Lehigh vale portion of eastern Penn .It is part of dominion XI of the Pennsylvania
Interscholastic Athletic tie-up .The Colonial league is designed for mid and small-size
schooling in the Lehigh vale .The largest 18 schools in the Lehigh valley and Pocono region
compete in the Eastern Pennsylvania conference , one of the premiere athletic naval
division in the nation .== History == In 1975 , nine shoal from the Lehigh vale region of
eastern Pennsylvania merged to form the Colonial league .Since then , a aggregate of five
team have joined the league , with one team going away .=== Charter phallus === The

high School Prior to joining the Colonial League , these schools were constituent of the
Lehigh valley conference or the Lehigh-Northampton league for interscholastic activities .As
yr went on , the member schools of these leagues began to diverge greatly in school sizing
and athletic competition levels ..The smaller schools of each conference broke away and
formed the Colonial conference while others became members of the Centennial
League .Some joined the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference , which includes the Lehigh
Valley 's largest high schooling and a very high storey of gymnastic competition .=== 1994
improver and difference === In 1994 , Northern Lehigh heights school day , Northwestern
Lehigh High School , Notre Dame heights schoolhouse , and Palmerton heights School all
joined the Colonial League .Nazareth Area High School in Nazareth , meanwhile , departed
the Colonial conference in 1994 to set about competing with larger mellow schools in the
Mountain Valley Conference , then later joined the Lehigh Valley conference and Eastern
