organic producers and handlers. There is a wide variety of products offered for sale,
ranging from organic seed, to pet food, to fruits and vegetables of every kind.

These producers/handlers are certified organic and must follow United States
Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Organic Program (NOP) production rules. A
third party certifying agency verifies that the organic production practices are followed.
Producers and handlers are inspected yearly to ensure compliance with the NOP
standards.

The Nebraska Department of Agriculture is not a USDA certifying agency and does not
certify or guarantee that the individuals, businesses, or products in this directory are
organic. Proof of certification can be obtained from the person selling the goods.
