Self introduction
Good morning teacher, let me
introduce myself.
My name’s Quynh Trang.I’m 19
years old.I’m from Hung Yen.I’m the
first year student at UFBA. I’m in
class KD10C. My major is
accounting.
II. Topic
1. Describe a friend

I have a lot of friend, but my best

friend is Mai Chi. We met at
university and quickly got on like a
house on fire. She’s 19 and she’s from
Hai Phong. She studies accounting at
university.
Mai Chi has a medium build with
light skin and long wavy black hair.
Chi’s personality that I appreciate the
most is how kind and considerate she
is to everyone around her.
She is interested in shopping and
she is fond of shopping for clothes.
She can shop for hours without
getting bored. She’s also crazy about
K-pop, and she likes listening to her
idol’s music. She only hates onething-
mouse.
I appreciate her because she
always offers me a shoulder to cry on.
2. Last holiday
I went to SaPa last August with
my parents. We took me 5 hours to
get there by car.
We stayed for three days in a
small hotel near SaPa stadium. The
hotel was nice and cheap.
During three days we visited
many breathtaking locations.We went
to Fansipan - one of SaPa's top tourist
destinations, stone church, Heaven's
Gate,... We also had a chance to try
out various food, drink, and fresh
fruit.
We took a lot of photos. At night we
went to a restaurant and had fantastic
salmon.
We had a great time. SaPa has a
fresh atmosphere, and SaPa food is
wonderful.

3. Daily routine
Daily life means a routine life. It
is my habit to get up early in the
morning. I brush my teeth and wash
my hands and face. Then I do
exercise for 20 minutes. After that, I
take my breakfast and sit at my desk.
I have lunch at 11:30(half past
eleven) because my class starts at
12:45.(twelve to fourty-five)
In the afternoon, I study until
5:35(five past thirty-five) p.m. Then I
go to the market to cook dinner.
Returning home, I wash my face and
take a bath. Before sunset, I finish
cooking dinner.
In the evening, I study and
prepare for lessons until 10:30(half
past ten) p.m. Normally I go to bed at
11 p.m. Besides this, I read the daily
newspapers and surf the Internet.
This is my daily routine. But
there are minor changes.

4. Your house/flat
I come from Hung Yen city, Hung
Yen province. I live with my family
in a small house there.
My house is not too big, about 100
square meters, but it is quiet and well-
equipped. It is painted light yellow
and looks very warm. It has no
garden but has a few orchid pots in
front of the balcony. My house has
two floors. On the ground floor, there
is a living room, two bedrooms, a
kitchen, a bathroom, and a toilet. The
second floor has a terrace, two
bedrooms, and a bathroom. I like the
living room best because that is
where my family watches TV and
talks to each other every evening. I
hung a large picture of my family
there.
I enjoy living in my current home
because my parents paid for it.

5. Where do you prefer to live, in a

city or in a countryside? Why?
It's difficult to answer. I think the
answer depends on ages, hobbies,
characters of each person. However,
in my opinion, I'd like to live in the
city.
Living in the city has more
opportunities than in the countryside.
For example, job opportunities,
learning opportunities, interactions
with modern technologies, and so on.
 In the city, there is a wide variety
of goods and services to meet my
needs. Besides, I can enjoy every
kind of food you've ever wanted to try
and think about.
Those are the reasons why I want
to live in the city.

6. Seasons and weather in VN

There are 3 regions in Viet Nam:
the north, the south, and the middle.
The weather is different in each
region.
Spring is a special season because
there are so many festivals, especially
the Tet festival. It is the biggest
holiday in a year in Viet Nam. In the
spring it’s very warm and drizzly.
In summer, it is hot. There are
many exciting activities in the
summer: swimming, camping,…
People like to wear colourful clothes
in this season.
In autumn, it is cool and the sky is
clear. The leaves change colour turn
yellow and there’re sudden and short
showers in the seventh lunar month.
The winter is beautiful and there
isn’t snow in the winter in Vietnam.
In winter, we get to wear warm
clothes and have comfortable sleep on
a mattress bet with a quilted blanket.
