The Excitation Wavelength Accuracy test uses the Rayleigh scattering process of the emission wavelength to verify
accuracy of the detector.
Emission wavelength is set to 700 nm and the excitation wavelength is changed in 1nm increments from 343 nm
to 357 nm to measure the second order Rayleigh scattering band.
The Excitation Wavelength Accuracy test passes only when all 15 expected peaks are identified, and the
wavelength associated with the highest peak is 350 nm + or - 6 nm.
