Safety Cautions
1. Motor:
As part of the motor exposed outside of enclosure, when using this product should install appropriate
protect structure and warning labels should be used, to ensure that users will not directly touch
the motor and cause burns.
In case of motor failure (eg due to CPU runaway, etc.) will cause the motor temperature rise could
cause smoke, fire, if the user inadvertently touches the motor may be injured. Be sure to use a hardware facility
to detect motor failures so it is shut down whenever a failure is detected.

2. Gear:
As part of the gear assembly protrudes from the cutter frame. The designer should design the enclosure so
the user is unable to gain direct access to that part of the gear assembly.

3. Maintenance precautions:
Do not touch the blade.
Do not disassemble the device unless it is absolutely necessary; turn the power off before maintenance.
Connect the auto cutter unit with the correct polarity.

4. Other cautions:
Should prevent any liquid or foreign matter intrusion into the mechanism of this product, because it may
cause smoke, fire, or other serious damage. The structure should be appropriate to protect the user can not
directly touch any sharp edges of this product.

4. Device installation

A. The paper should have no slack in the printer-cutter paper path.


B. To prevent paper jam, insert paper at a right angle to the cutter.
C. To prevent cutting errors due to paper curls, use a paper guide in front of the cutter to keep paper
appressed to the stationary blade.
D. The following shows some examples of cutter layout please refer to the drawings, install the
cutter properly.
