1. Purpose

This procedure is generated to provide preventive control measures to assure that quality standards
required in contract documents are being met. The three phases of construction will serve as checkpoints in order
for the Construction Management to establish hold-points in ensuring the quality and safety of activity per
construction phase.

2. Scope

This procedure shall apply to all activity from pre-construction to post-construction phase of the project.

5. Procedure

Pre- construction Phase – or the preparatory stage will be the first line of defence of the team wherein at
this stage submission and approval of mock-up (if needed), shop drawings, materials, and methodology are being
generated. And once all the submittals have been approved the team will conduct EQUIP (Effective Quality
Understanding and Interaction Program) to discuss all the approved submittals together with the RLC Team and
Trade Contractors Related to the certain activity to avoid future errors during the implementation stage. With this
the RLC Team shall Promote a preventive measures in avoiding future defects or incidents that may affect the safety
and welfare of the people working inside the project site and the quality defects that may arise which both can cause
time delays and cost implications.

Construction Phase – is the implementation phase of the activity, during this stage it shall be expected that
all methods, materials and shop drawing which will be used in construction are all approved and in good condition.
Proper supervision of materials, tools and manpower and ensuring the compliance to the items discussed during the
EQUIP Presentation and by using the WIIR and Applicable Checklist will ensure that the activity will be done in a
correct and safe manner.

Post- Construction Phase – is the final phase of construction, in this final phase all the documentation or
permits needed by the owner for project completion is discussed including the punch list and turnover of works to
assure that in the final stage all contract requirement are being met.
