Activity Procedure
Sing “What’s wrong?” (CD1 Track 40). Have students
I. Warm Up practice singing the lyrics along with the audio. Say I can't
hear the teacher and ask students to act it out. Repeat this
with the other I can’t…sentences.
II. Presentation of Introductions
New Topic A. Learn the words.
1. Play Class CD2 Track 41. Have students listen and point
to the pictures of actions in their books. Play the audio again
and have students repeat the phrases. Check pronunciation
and intonation.
2. Ask students to stand in a circle. Slowly call out one of the
new actions and have students act it out. Have the whole
class say the phrase chorally.
B. Make sentences.
1. Have a boy and a boy girl to volunteer go to the front of
the class. Ask the boy to jump. Gesture toward him and say
Look at him! He can jump. Then have the girl jump as you
say Look at her! She can jump.

Clap a beat and have students clap with you. After each
verse, have a student volunteer say what he or she likes.
IV. Extra Practice Let’s Go workbook 2, pp. 26-28.
Have students to this for homework or in class.
