Trends, Networks and Critical Thinking in the 21st Century Culture

This was my poster about on what comes to my mind when we hear the word ICT. This
was for the subject Trends, Networks and Critical Thinking in 21 st Century Culture. According to
our subject teacher, we are task to create an art based on what we perceived as we hear the word
ICT and to showcase our ability in art specifically in drawing.

Through this activity, we understand that in creating something based on what we hear,
we have a different ways and outcome depends in our knowledge through that specific topic.
 This activity made me realize that we have different understanding
on a certain topic based on our knowledge about it. Through this
activity, I learned to think outside my box, my knowledge is not limited
and I should be responsible in expanding it. Also this art harness my
ability in creating and illustrating what is in my mind using drawing.
Moreover, this output helped me in remembering what I’ve learned
through this past years.

Being inclined in art, I found this activity very interesting and fun
as I was able to incorporate my skills in art specifically in drawing in
doing outputs for our subject. This activity made me truly happy for
doing something that is passion.

In my life, this activity made me realize that everything you do, do

it with full of your effort, even if it is a small thing, because everything
starts from a small amount. Relating this activity to my life, I learned
that you need to recall your past experiences so that this will help you in
your present and in future. This output also helps me in my future for
this may be my first step in improving what skill I lack off, so that it will
be better in future.

Requirement 1
Introduction to World Religion and Belief System

This was my requirement 1 for the subject Introduction to World Religion and Belief
System. According to our subject teacher we were tasked to create this output to give our
perception and our views on religion that we have.

Through this activity, we understood better the different views of every people to the
religion that he/she was involved.
 This requirement 1 helps me in what actually my view about my
religion. This made me realize that I need to understand deeply what is
my religion and what is the purpose of it. I realized that for me I still
have doubt on what my belief is, on what extent do this belief takes me.
Also this output helps me in deeply understand what I’ve been believing
for. Moreover, this also helps me in reminding myself that God has
made me and He is the one who makes everything have purpose.

Being a believer doesn’t mean that you need to do every single

things that is said to do, sometimes you need to be yourself to express
what is inside you. In addition, sometimes you need to be neutral on a
certain things.

Through this requirement, I realized that freedom of expression is

one of the most valuable thing that can helps us in expressing what is
inside of ours. In my future life, this could help me in expressing my
views and my side to a certain event.

Requirement 2
Introduction to World Religion and Belief System

This was my Requirement 2 for the subject Introduction to World Religion and Belief
System. According to our subject teacher, we were tasked to create this output in order to have a
knowledge on what we will be discussing afterwards. This was about the Christian
Denominations.

Through this activity, we were able to have knowledge about the Denominations
Christians have. This also makes us a better researcher when it come in researching about a
certain topic.
 This requirement 2 helps me in adding more knowledge about my
religion and its past. This made me realizes that Christianity have many
denominations, it is like it have more branches. Also, through this
output, I realized that every religion that I know have a connection to
Catholic, specially in the past. This means that their practices and origin
has connected to Christianity.

Through this output, I realized that there are so many mysteries

and knowledge in the past that I haven’t been discovered and know
about. This makes my knowledge be wider and to simply expand my
information about Christianity. Moreover, this output helps me in
connecting my knowledge about my religion to others and what are their
similarities.

Being inclined in the church, I find this more useful, for it helps
me in deepening my faith in my religion. This helps me in real life by
this can me my primary act in deepening my understanding in a certain
topic. This could really help me in be a better researcher, for this time,
research is the most used when it comes in expanding knowledge. This
can help m3 identify ehat is more about a certain topic.

Final Requirement Folder
Introduction to World Religion and Belief System

This was my final requirement folder for the subject Introduction to World Religion and
Belief System. According to our subject teacher, we are task to create a compilation of our
handouts and put it in a folder that have a design based on your style that will reflect on who you
are. This would be our final requirement for our subject teacher at the end of our semester.
Through this requirement, we are able to be more discipline in caring our belongings and
to have a better grade, because a worse work will have a worse grade. Also to have a itemized
compilation of handouts.
 This requirement made me realize that there are many religion
practices that we have (Roman Catholic) in common. This is a
compilation of our handouts, because if this I know more about the other
religion, I know more information about them. This leads me to realized
that some religion have in common, whether it is in practices or
festivals. Also because of this handouts, I realize that taking care of your
things is the best, because you can use this in the times if need and you’d
be able to know where are they if you keep them.
Through this requirement, I realized that keeping your things
organized and keeping them in one place makes your life easier, because
when you needed it, you’ll know where it is. Also this could help me in
real life by being careful with all of my things because, today everything
is valuable. With me, being a careless person, this requirement helps me
a lot, this makes me disciplined in my things and in my self.
Being careful to yourself and to your things makes your life better.
In the future this could help me in taking care of myself through a
collective practices. Having a knowledge other information makes me
more open to other thoughts.

Project Title
Community Engagement, Solidarity, and Citizenship

This was my Project Title for the subject Community Engagement, Solidarity, and
Citizenship. According to our subject teacher we are tasked to create this to solve a problem in
our community. Although problem to our community, this should be able to do by us, students,
this shouldn’t be so big or complicated.
Through this activity, we are able to brainstorm what is the problem to our community
and how to create a solution about it.
 Problem in our community is very common, from a very minor to
big major, as we students we have the ability to solve problems in a
certain instance. This activity helps me in identifying what problem our
community have, and how are we supposed to solve it. If this can’t be
solved at least minimize the effect of this problem. Through this activity
I realized that in helping the community doesn’t mean doing the big
things, in just a small action can make a big difference more importantly
in the future. Having a knowledge on what the problem is, we could
make a solution or alternative solution on how to decrease its effect to
the community.
Being student and part of the community, we should be able to
overcome every problem even if it is the smallest. Just like in the saying
“there is no problem that can’t be solved” every problem has a solution,
you just need to think deep down in your mind.
With this activity I realized that in small things can make a big
difference throughout it’s range. This activity also helps me in the
future, where solving things will be much easier for me, especially when
it comes to my real life. Every struggles I’ll have, I would be able to
overcome and have a lesson about it. As in this world that problems
can’t be gone, this help me a lot.

My Slogan

This was my Slogan for the subject Trends, Networks and Critical Thinking in the 21 st
Century Culture. According to our subject teacher, we are tasked to create this slogan on how
being technology literate helps us in the future and in our life.
Through this activity we are able to build our imaginative and creative mind. Also
through this activity we are able to come up with a great slogan so that it can even persuade
others to be technology literate.
 Through this world with almost our life is based on the
technologies that are made, we should be able to use that in a
responsible manner and also we should know more about this. This
activity helps me in being a technology literate person, on what it is and
how it acts. With the technologies we have we should know what its
capacities and how to use it properly, specially in the cyberspace.
Because of this activity, I realized that being responsible in what you do
is the best way to build a better future.
Being in the 21st century where we mostly depends on the
technologies, I should be a technology literate person. With this I’m able
to understand, what how and why should I do such things with this
technology, specially in the cyberspace where crime can also build up.
Being a literate person can help you in almost all of you life.
With this activity I realized that it is better to know about a certain
things first before using or going into it, just like in real life, never do
things or do actions if you don’t know the consequences or don’t know

My Scrapbook
Creative Writing

This was my scrapbook for the subject Creative Writing. We are tasked by our subject
teacher to create a scrapbook related to our topic literary devices. This scrapbook consisted of 3
foreign and local short stories.
 Through this activity, we were able to have a better understanding of types of literary
devices. This also inspired us to know how to create a creative writing using different literary
devices.

This scrapbook made me realized that short stories can consist of

literary devices. I also realized that the literary devices can create a
impact on the short stories and also give beauty to the story. Through
this activity, I realized that short stories can be more entertaining if you
include more literary devices.
I realized that every part of a story can be more difficult to identify
if you don’t understand the story. Also this activity helps me in
improving my writing skills and also my vocabulary.

The Script of My Own One Act Play
Creative Writing

This was the script of my own one act play for the subject Creative Writing. After
creating the plot and character, our subject teacher tasked us to create a script of our own one act
play.
 Through this activity, we were able to test our creative minds and the knowledge we have
in creating a script and also on how we apply this understanding and how we created the flow of
the story.

This script made me realized that creating line in the play is very
hard. This should be meaningful or maybe it can affect the character that
is in the play or who the character is speaking. This output helped me
also in improving my English vocabulary and the proper way to use it in
dialogues. Also, in creating every line, I realized that you should create a
line that connects to the next scene and it should create an improvement
on the characters.
Being good at vocabulary is an advantage in creating story
specially if you create lines that’ll affect also the audience. In creating a
successful ending, this script made me realized that the ending should
give the audience a lesson that can help them in everyday living.
