Studio Electrical Hazard If a device isn’t plugged in
properly or some liquid
has spilled on a device;
someone could get an
electric shock if they are
close by to it.
Studio Dropping a Prop While handling the
BEYERDYNAMIC
headphones, they could be
dropped and damaged.

sponsor segment of the
podcast

Control Measure – Extra
precautions
We can get some cable sleeves that
bunch cables up and keep them all
in one big line. This will limit the
ability to trip on it as there would
only be 1 cable effectively.
The guest and presenter could
isolate a couple of days before the
recording to limit the risk of
catching an illness.
The cast could take the lift upstairs
instead of the stairs which would
eliminate the risk of falling down
them entirely.
Keep all liquids either out of the
room, or in tightly sealed bottles
that are away from all of the
electronics.
When they are held, we will try to
have them above the table in an
attempt to reduce the fall height if
they are dropped.
Existing measures – Precautions in
place now
Most of the cables are very visible
and there are limited cables in the
filming area.
The two members of the cast are
staying away from people they know
are currently ill and people who
show symptoms of illness.
The cast will take extra precaution
when traversing the stairs in order to
limit the risk of slipping.
There are surge protected extension
leads that protect them from tripping.
This limits the risk of electric shock.
They will be handled with extreme
care and will be held as little as
possible to avoid the risk of
damaging them.
