Nowadays, the issue of environmental devastation is inextricably linked with

globalization. Developing countries in particular are notably affected by the
developmental costs of globalization because of the need to grapple with the demands
of a globalized world. They deem it necessary to build more infrastructure projects for
industrial and commercial purposes. This results in the displacement of some
communities which further contributes to the growth of informal settlers.
