STAGE 4. Sketch Design

Create A visual representation( such as a sketch or a mind map) of the selected solution including all
selected elements, ideas of the solution.

STAGE 5. Prototype, Test and Refine

 Create and/ or build an actual original product.


 Necessary changes or modification might need to be made prior to getting the product to work
as planned.
 Multiple actions/trials may be required to include changes of prototype, testing , and refining.
In social sciences using picture journaling or a form of visualizing a model is appropriate.

STAGE 6. Feedback from User

• Present the final design/product to the users and/or interested parties for their feedback,
• As the product designers request feedback from the users/interested parties about the
degree to which the design/product fulfilled or met their needs,
• Generate and ask specific questions about what worked and what still needs improvement,
• In social sciences using picture journaling OR presentation to be presented to stakeholders
for feedback is appropriate to identify whether or not it met their needs.
