WRITING THE CONCLUDING PARAGRAPH

- The concluding paragraph reminds the reader of the writer’s purpose for writing.

- The first sentence can restate the thesis statement in one sentence.

- The second sentence can restate the differences and similarities.

- It ends with a final comment. This comment tells the reader what writer has
learned or realized about the subjects by comparing them. The comment may be:

Advice: People should look forward to the freedom that they will have less debt.

A prediction: Businesses that offer both online and in-store options will continue to
grow.

An opinion: I think that caring nature is everyone’s responsibility.
