➢To make students familiar with JFET


Transfer Characteristics..

➢ In JFET, the relationship between VGS (input voltage) and ID (output


current) is used to define the transfer characteristics. It is called as
Shockley’s Equation:

➢The relationship is more complicated (and not linear)
