Holidays are important for relaxation. They
provide relief from the monotony of our daily
routine. They help us to refresh ourselves
and go back to work with renewed energy.
Summer holidays are awaited by a lot of
people after working hard throughout the
year. There are no rules for going to school
and playing for a short time and then
completing our homework. We can manage
our time, according to our wish.

Astronaut
An astronaut is a person who goes into outer space. It is not an
easy job as astronauts need to go under intense training for years
to become one! Astronauts need to be physically fit while also
toning great health. The first ever person to go into space was a
Russian man named Yuri Gagarin in 1961. The first and second
people to walk on the moon were Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin
from America in 1969.

‫ما اكتب القصة بتفاصيلها وسطور كثير اكتب فقط سطرين او ‪٣‬‬
‫مختصره وتحتوي عاالفكار الرئيسيه فقط ) ‪.‬‬

‫خطوات كتابة الملخص ( ‪: ) The Summary‬‬

‫‪ -١‬اقرأ النص وافهمه جيدا وترجم الكلمات الصعبه‪.‬‬

‫قراءة سريعه ولمحه وراح اقدر افهم واختصر الوقت )‬

‫وايش الحدث الرئيسي الي صار ؟‬
‫‪ -٣‬اعيد صياغة االفكار وارجع اكتبها بشكل مختصر بعيد عن‬
‫التفاصيل‪.‬‬

teenagers may need more . There are various things
that can deprive us of sleep such as work schedules

 A visit to the zoo
Today our class teacher took us to the zoo. We
went to the zoo by bus. We were about twenty
students on the bus. We entered the zoo
through a large gate. Our teacher guided us.
We saw a lion inside a cage. We also saw tigers,
giraffes and other wild animals in a fenced
area.The best experience was seeing the roar of
the big Lion face to face. Snake park was also a
part of the zoo. It was a thrilling experience
watching the snakes move just like that behind
the glass panes. We came back to school at 3
PM. It was a place worth to spend time with
family or big groups.

One day, A lamb was eating sweet grass away from
her flock of sheep. She didn't notice a wolf walking
nearer to her. When she saw the wolf, she started
pleading, " Please, don't eat me. My stomach is full
of grass. You can wait a while to make my meat
taste much better. The grass in my stomach will be
digested quickly if you let me dance." The wolf
agreed. While the lamb was dancing, she had a
new idea. She said, " I can dance faster if you take
my bell and ring it so hard. " The wolf took the bell
and started to ring so hard. The shepherd heard
the sound and ran quickly to save the lamb's life.

Khaled had never flown on an airplane before. He was very
nervous as he rolled his suitcase toward the departing gate. A
very nice lady checked his ticket and told him it was time to
board. When he and his father found their seats, they put on
their seatbelts and waited for the plane to take off. Khaled
clutched the armrests of his seat so tightly his knuckles turned
white. " How long will we be in the air? " asked Khaled" About
three hours, " answered his father. " But don't worry, I brought
books and games. The time will pass quickly. " Khaled started to
relax a little when his father read him a funny story. Then they
played card games and read some more. Before Khaled knew it,
the flight was over, and the plane was landing. As they walked
off the plane and out into the airport terminal, Khaled saw
another boy about his age getting ready to board a different
plane. Khaled thought the boy looked a little worried, and he
remembered how that felt. " Don't be scared, " he said with a
big, friendly smile. " Flying is fun. "

Mrs Nourah has taken time off work to do some clothes
shopping for her family. She is often very busy and her children
do not like to go shopping, so as there are a few sales on in
town, she thought this was a good time to find some bargains.
First she went into Zara store where she picked up two shirts, a
pair of trousers and a winter coat for her son. Then she chose a
pinafore, two shirts and a jacket for her daughter. As she went
passed the men's department, she found a grey suit on sale for
her husband and remembered he needed a belt and a new tie.
After paying for the things she chose, she went to Primark to
buy a pair of pyjamas and a dressing gown for her daughter.
There were also lovely slippers on sale, which she bought for
herself. The last shop she went into was Debenhams, where
with the help of an assistant, found a beautiful red cardigan, a
silk purple blouse and a pair of boots. After all that shopping.
Mrs Nourah decided to take a rest at Starbucks and drink a cup
of coffee.
