ITB INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM DRAWING TEST

ITB International Undergraduate Program Applicant who choose Architecture Study


Program and/or study program in Faculty of Visual Art and Design are required to take a
drawing test. This drawing test will be conducted online and open only for those applying to
Architecture Study Program and/or study program in Faculty of Visual Art and Design.

General Information
• Drawing test for Architecture Study Program is conducted in English in the real time
test in a Zoom meeting, in a 90-minutes session.
• Drawing test for study program in Faculty of Visual Art and Design is conducted in
English in the real time test in a Zoom meeting, in a 150-minutes session.
• Participant can take the Drawing test at home
• To take the test, participant need a PC/Laptop and a stable internet connection
• Participant need to download and install Zoom application to take the Drawing test.
• Drawing test is intended to assess individual’s creativity, learning potential or
learning ability; a potential to success if he/she had the opportunity to study in
higher education.

Drawing Test Requirement


• Gmail account, for Test Result Submision
• Personal Computer/Laptop with stable internet connection, equipped with:
o Zoom application
o Camera
§ All participants are required set the camera on throughout the test
period.
§ Camera position is about 1 meter from the participant.
§ Please ensure the following:
§ Candidate’s face and at least 1/3 of candidate upper body to
be seen in the camera
§ Work sheet to be seen in the camera
§ Audio device (mic and speaker), connected in all duration of the test
with good sound quality
o Candidate is advised to test the hardware and scan/take photo of the
worksheet in order to anticipate any technical problem
o Drawing media and tools:
§ For applicant to Architecture Study Program
§ Min 4 pcs of A4 Size Drawing Paper
§ Pen and A4 paper
§ 2B Graphite Pencil
§ 6B Graphite Pencil or Charcoal Stick
§ For applicant to study program in Faculty of Visual Art and Design
§ Min 1 pcs A3 Size Drawing Paper
§ Pencil, black-ink ballpoint or black-ink marker or any
combination of those three.
§ Scan/Photo Device to upload the test result
§ Please ensure that the exam is done in the room with adequate and
proper lighting
§ Dress code: neat and decent

• Drawing Test Schedule for Architecture Study Program
o Drawing Test will be conducted on Wednesday, 3 April 2024, starting 13.00
western Indonesian time (WIB)

• Test Room (https://bit.ly/2024-drawingtest-1A) link will be announced
in participant registration account.
• Test Result Submission link will be announced later during the test session.
• Drawing Test Procedure
o Please ensure that all devices and tools are ready
o Candidate is required to sign in into Zoom no later than 15 minutes prior to
the exam time
o Please set the name or your zoom account <selection number>-<name>-
<study program>, before sign in into Zoom application.
o Candidate to wait in Zoom waiting room until entry is allowed by the Host
o Camera to be position in a way it will be able to capture candidate’s face,
upper body, both hands, and work sheet
o Drawing test will be conducted in 3 session, each session will be conducted in
30 minutes.
o Rules and Exam Specification will be announced by officials
o All duration of the exam will be under officials’ supervision
o In the last 10 minutes of every session of the exams, officials will be posting
an upload link. Once the link is available, candidates are allowed to upload
their work
o At the end of each part, worksheets to be scanned or photographed, JPEG or
PNG format of the worksheets are to be uploaded into an upload link
o ITB recommends the size and resolution of the scanned exam results as
follows:
§ File size between 150 kb to 1 Mb
§ Minimum resolution 300 dpi
o Name of test result file: <selection number>-<name><test session>-
page<page number>.jpg
o A countdown will be applied in the shared folder, do note that once the
countdown end, candidate will no longer be able to upload any file and will
be deemed failed the exam

• Drawing Test Procedure

o In the begining of test session the exam problems screen will be shown for 30
minutes.
§ Participant can choose one of two exam problems provided
§ After 30 minutes, the problem screen will be dissapear and
participant is prohibited to re-open the test problems.
o In the last 60 minutes of the exams, officials will be posting an upload link.
Once the link is available, candidates are allowed to upload their work
o At the end of the exam, worksheets to be scanned or photographed, JPEG or
PNG format of the worksheets are to be uploaded into an upload link
o ITB recommends the size and resolution of the scanned exam results as

Rules
• Camera is always turned ON during all the exam session
• Camera to be position in a way it will be able to capture candidate’s face, upper
body, both hands, and work sheet
• Audio Microphone is always turned MUTE during all the exam session
• Any interference from other party during the exam is strictly prohibited
• ALL parts of the exam to be done within the time frame while having the zoom video
(webcam/camera) on.
• Any type of misconduct and/or violation of the rules may result in the termination of
candidate’s application process Following are Misconducts/ rules violation
indication, but not limited to:
o All or part of the exam is done by or with assistance of other party
o Work done is not candidate original idea
o The drawing result is a copy of the photo/image
o Uploaded files had gone through any post processing
