We are on a mission to empower businesses to succeed in the mobile-first world by helping them
create their own native mobile applications to increase engagement.

Vajro is a cloud-based Mobile Commerce Platform that lets companies create mobile shopping
apps for their stores. Our core product is a no-code Mobile App Builder. Brands can use Vajro to
build stunning, exquisitely crafted, and native Android and iOS apps in under 60 minutes, without
any coding.

The Opportunity:

We're searching for a talented and experienced UI-UX designer for our team. This role provides the
opportunity to be a Product and Brand thought leader, deliver exceptional user experiences driven
by customer data/insights and business goals, solve complex business problems through design
thinking, lead and inspire a wildly talented team. You are able to lead both vision and the team but
you are also ready to get your hands dirty when it's needed. You attract amazing people as you
love to inspire and motivate others. Moreover you’re the heart of the team and are always keen to
grow and help anyone around you.When leading - you lead by example, when setting the bar -
you set it up high and make sure everything lives up to it. You think strategically and can take
responsibility for the final result.

The ideal candidate has a combination of the following skills: thirst for continuous learning,

organizational psychology. You would also be at the forefront of our creation of a new market
category, Talent Optimization – the alignment of People strategy to Business strategy in the
pursuit of optimal business results.

Provide UX leadership using your experience with analytics, research, design methodologies and
product launches to introduce best practices, scalable processes and design systems. Be an
enthusiastic advocate for the total experience of our product across all touchpoints and ensure
each and every moment is delightful and impactful.
What you’ll be doing:

Operationally:

● Design user-centric interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications.
● Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate product goals into
innovative design solutions.
● Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
● Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and
improvements.
● Ensure design consistency and coherence across the entire product.

Strategically:

● Define and execute upon a vision for design and UX within our portfolio of products.
● Own a seat at the senior leadership table of Design + Product + Engineering to define
roadmaps, strategy, innovation and achievement of business outcomes.
● Own the omni-channel customer experience “stem to stern” starting from when they are a
sales prospect, all the way to active customer renewal with a focus on ease of use and
value creation to promote a steady increase in overall adoption and retention..
● Facilitate growing a collaborative cross functional team from “Good to Great” that is both
hyper-agile and always focused on the goal of creating value for the customer..
● When the timing is right, in future, segue into the responsibility to hire, lead and motivate
a team of talented product designers by providing mentorship, coaching, regular feedback
and thoughtful career pathing.

Requirements and skills

● Overall 6+ years of experience in the field of UI-UX design.

● 4+ experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills
in a Product-based company
● Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
● Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and responsive
design
● Experience in conducting user research and usability testing
● Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
 ● Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate design ideas and prototypes
● MSc/BSc degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is a plus point.
We know that the best designers don't usually have a degree in the field.
