Education in Hong Kong is largely modelled on that of the United Kingdom, particularly the English system.[332] Children are re-
quired to attend school from age 6 until completion of secondary education, generally at age 18.[333][334] At the end of secondary
schooling, all students take a public examination and are awarded the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education upon suc-
