EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In the given report, I have mentioned in detail my internship experience at Vanayu Organics, a
company specializing in manufacturing of organic cooking oil. During my internship, I engaged
in on-field marketing projects aimed at attracting potential clients for joining Vanayu Organics
as customers. Collaborating closely with experienced professionals, I participated in tasks such
as marketing identification for potential clients and collaborating with businesses for adopting
products of Vanayu organics in the food production. These experiences provided me with first-
hand insight into the complexities and opportunities involved sales and marketing of a business.
Joining a startup in the organic oil production industry can be an exciting and rewarding experi-
ence. It offered me opportunities for significant personal and professional growth, innovative
thinking, and direct impact on shaping the company's products and processes. Additionally, the
alignment with sustainable practices and eco-friendly products can provide a sense of purpose.
While the my journey comes with challenges like research for clients thus provides career ad-
vancement, and being part of an emerging industry.

CHAPTER I – INTRODUCTION

Vanayu Organics is a startup based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The startup aims to provide organi-
cally procured, pure, unadulterated, cold pressed cooking oil to target customers

Vision
To be the leading provider of pure, unadulterated cold-pressed oils, crafted with traditional meth-
ods using sustainable wood presses.

Mission
To nourish families and empower communities by delivering the goodness of nature in every
bottle of our 100% natural wood-pressed oil. To educate consumers about the health benefits of
wood & cold-pressed oils and promote a shift towards conscious, healthy living. To foster sus-
tainable practices throughout our supply chain, from sourcing wood to manufacturing and pack-
aging.
Organizational Hierarchy-

Chief Director: Mr. Vijay Loni - Responsible for overall strategic direction and leadership
Research head: Mr. Akshay Joshi

Reporting Structure:

Each department head reports directly to the director Mr. Vijay Loni

Roles and responsibilities are clearly defined within each department to ensure clarity and effi-
ciency.

Designations may vary based on the size and specific needs of the company but are typically
structured to support the company's goals and objectives.

This structure allows for clear communication, efficient decision-making, and effective service
delivery within the organization.

keting of Vanayu Organics internship program and
2. Description of tasks handled: marketing research and sales of Vanayu Organics prod-
ucts and competitor analysis(Marico,Patanjali Foods,Adani Wilmar).

In theory, marketing and sales a product sounds like a very simple task. However,
in practice deciding upon what kind of target audience to choose, what offerings
to propose, how to negotiate to convert them into our clients requires lot of dili-
gent efforts. This is because if the message is not clearly conveyed during dealing
and it is not ensured that the message reaches target audience, all the effort put on
converting a client into a consumer.
