CONTENT : DISEASE
A disease is a condition that impairs the normal functioning of the body. It can affect parts or the
entire body, leading to symptoms, dysfunction, or distress.
Communicable Diseases:
Communicable diseases, also known as infectious diseases, are caused by pathogenic
microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, parasites, or fungi; these diseases can be spread,
directly or indirectly, from one person to another.

#### Causative Agents of Communicable Diseases:


1. **Bacteria**: Cause diseases like Tuberculosis, Typhoid, and Cholera.
2. **Viruses**: Lead to diseases such as COVID-19, Influenza (Flu), HIV/AIDS.
3. **Parasites**: Responsible for Malaria, Amoebiasis, and Schistosomiasis.
