3. TEMPORARY FACILITIES
To start construction work, supporting facilities need to be prepared first. This supporting
facility will be used to supply construction material needs. The supporting facilities that
we have prepared are temporary facilities, following lay out of Temporary Facilities.

Rebar workshop is a place to produce reinforcement for column, beam, slab, and
others for station building. This facility is equipped with bar bending and bar cutter.
- Formwork Workshop
Formwork workshop is a place to produce formwork for column, beam, slab, and
others for station building.
- Material Stockyard
Material stockyard is a place to stock the material needed such as rebar, plywood
and PCH for formwork, etc.
- Storehouse
Storehouse is a place to store equipments and logistics.
- Site Office
Site office is a place to carry out supervision, work control, and administration of the
project.

The work of column started from grid 18-17 F, E, D then continued at grid 18-17 C, B, A
this cycle continues until grid 2-1. After grid 2-1 C, B, A are finished, grid 19 can be done
with the same sequence.
b. Preparation Work
Checking approval drawing & Bar Bending Schedule
- We must check the approved drawing & bar bending schedule before
cutting the rebar
- We should be check the column rebar as works sequence
- The labour must be wear safety shoes, safety helm, reflector vest, &
gloves before fabrication the rebar
Survey Work / Determine the column border line.
- Checking of coordinate of grid column
- Determine the column border line based on approved drawings. Also, the
surveyor need checking the column border line.
Install barrier from concrete brick around the column as height as one layer
to keep the cleanliness of the column.
Install scaffolding as a platform for the labour. The scaffolding will be check
by scaffolding inspector and will be sign a green tag before to use.

c. Formwork Fabrication
Panel Cutting
- Cutting the panel as per dimension based on drawing.
Steel Cutting
- Cutting the steel using circulaw saw, ensure the length of frame is as
per drawing.

- Ensure the worker is wear the gloves, safety goggles, safety helmet and
safety shoes.
Steel Assembling
- Assembling the UNP using welding joint, check the squareness of
horizontal beam.
- Then assembling the vertical beam to horizontal beam.
Formwork Assembling
- Install the panel to the steel formwork by screw it into the vertical beam.
- Check the squareness of formwork
- Ensure the inside of formwork is flat

Painting
- Apply the zinc chromate painting around steel surface.
- After the zinc chromate paint has been applied, then continue to apply
finish painting to the steel surface.

f. Casting Concrete
Casting concrete will be conducted by using concrete bucket concrete which
supported by mobile crane or tower crane if the column location is reachable
within the weight limit of the tower crane. Before placing of equipment, site
condition shall be checked by concrete pump operator and site condition shall
be modified if necessary. Ready mixed concrete will be supplied to the column
by truck mixers. Workability of fresh concrete will be checked by slump test at
the site prior to starting of concreting. Before casting concrete the workers
must be pouring mixture of bonding agent & cement to the concrete of bottom
column.
During the process of concreting, workers will use vibrators to prevent the
segregation and to ensure the concrete quality. The concrete shall be poured
continuously with monolithic process until designated top elevation. The
concrete of the column shall be placed under the condition without added
water.
The formworks can be removal after 8 hours after concreting. During the
hardening process, concrete shall be cured by watering to avoid the dry up for
ensuring of good quality up to 7 days.

1 day after the formwork was removed, the 2nd step of column concrete casting
work can be started. After marking the height of the formwork location, the
formwork can be installed at the marked area. The formwork support will be
rest on the platform. The platform is supported by PCH scaffolding. The worker

has to make sure that the truss is installed tightly and properly at the column.
After finishing of formwork, concrete cover, marking of top elevation,
supporting system of formwork and any other requirements shall be checked
by civil engineer, QC team and safety team.

6. MANAGEMENT MEASURES

7. SAFETY PLAN
In case that construction work is conducted at existing road, safety for existing traffic and
labor shall be considered in priority to other matter.
The following is several rules of the 'Safety Rules and Regulations for All Workers' that
will be implemented and posted to all Site Safety Notice Boards within the worksite.
a. Safety Rules and Regulations for All Workers
• All workers on site must follow instructions by foremen/ supervisors.
• All workers must use safety helmets with chin straps, vest, and standard safety
shoes/boots at all times. All workers must wear and anchor their safety
belts/harnesses when working at height. Other protective equipment must be worn
and used correctly as and when necessary.
• All workers must refrain from smoking whilst working. Smoking is allowed at
designated areas only.
• All workers must participate in the daily/weekly housekeeping so as to maintain
site cleanliness at all times.
• All workers must strictly abide and comply with all existing safety rules and
requirements.
• All workers must maintain tools and equipment issued in a safe working condition
and report defects to the supervisor immediately for corrective actions.
• All workers will report any hazardous conditions or unsafe acts to the supervisor.
• All workers must report any accident or dangerous occurrence without delay to
his supervisor for necessary action.
• AII workers must be responsible for taking reasonable care for the health of
oneself and of others who may be affected by what he does or fails to do at work.
• All workers must understand that failure to work safely or follow safe work
practices will result in disciplinary actions including removal from site.
b. Control of Employees and Visitors
All employees of the contractor and all subcontractor at all level, including labor and
all employees of other contractors who are working within the Site shall at all times
wear suitable identification when on the Site and display a permit. The permit shall
be in English and the Indonesian language, dated and clearly show the person's and
his employer's names.

All visitors shall report to security guard and follow instructions prior entering the sites.
At the location of the toll area where the work is ongoing, the job site is closed using
the MCB and fence. If there are location adjacent to resident, the project site remains
closed from public road users using fences, so that residents do not have access to
the project area.
c. Security and Social Responsibility
• To reduce potential loss or theft or other criminal acts during construction works
• To ensure effectiveness of managing security.
• All personnel at construction site shall adhere all security policy that have been
stated by Contractor
• Detail of Security management will be explained on Security Management Plan
documents which will be submitted separately.
During all construction work, WIKA Gedung will provide relevant traffic signs throughout
construction, signaling, banners and flags in every access to the area. This is done to
prevent vehicle accidents leading to the site due to extreme access conditions.
Continuous maintenance is also carried out so that the road can be passed by the vehicle
safely.
a. Prevention for Falling Down of Crane
Lifting work by crane is always required to carry out the work including rebar
installation, unloading of rebar, concreting etc. Once accident of crane falling down is
occurred, terrible impact for public cannot be avoid. In the worst case, dead and
injured will be happened. So, to avoid the above situation followings counter
measures are required;
• Confirmation of maximum lifting weight & working radius of crane
• Confirmation for ground condition of working area
• Prohibition of quick turning during lifting of heavy weight
• Installation of steel plate (if ground condition is not suitable)
b. Prevention for Contact with Heavy Equipment and Worker
In case that operator of equipment does not aware surrounding situation during
operation of the equipment, this accident will be occurred. Countermeasures for this
accident are;
• Keeping out for turning radius of heavy equipment

Temporary lighting will be prepared, if there is a work that will be doing at night time.
Lighting work is using spotlight lamp, neon lamp, etc. The lighting system shall be at
the right position, efficient and safe. For night work, every access to the location must
have a sufficient lighting. Lighting will be located at safe place. Electrical supply for
lighting is taken from electrical source of PLN or generator.

8. ENVIRONMENTAL PLAN
WIKA Gedung will consider environmental impact during column work. The consents of
the environmental plan for this activity are as follows:
a. Cleaning Area
WIKA Gedung will keep and protect cleanliness in the working area and around the area.
During the process of work and transportation activity, WIKA Gedung will provide Water
Jet Washer on exit access from the working area. This method could keep the cleanliness
of the road from mud soil on tire from Truck and another vehicle. The water will be
provided on access to the working area for cleaning it. WIKA Gedung will always control
the cleanness inside the working area and around, especially on the existing road.
b. Dust Control
The possible treatment on dust control is to use the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
for the worker.
