This training is aimed at all employees who are active in Social Media.
It showcases how Social Media helps to generate brand awareness and it summarizes
Omya's guidelines related to all social media activities.

Whereas in the beginning, Social Media was mainly used for sharing holiday photos with friends and
family, the usage has developed and increased significantly over the past years.
Social Media is used as general term to describe different types of online platforms that allows direct
and open communication between users.
One type of Social Media are Professional Online Networking Platforms, as for example Linkedin.
The presence of both business accounts and users on Social Media has further changed the way
companies interact with their customers. It is estimated that close to 100 percent of larger companies
(both B2C and B2B) are using some sort of Social Media platforms.
